“I chose this shop because, it was local. They also had the best price for what I wanted done. I needed an exhaust system for my '93 mazda B2200. They also had all the parts there at the shop that I was looking for and, they could do the job that day. The gentleman I spoke with was very professional and he was the person doing the work. Very clean welds even, on top of the exhaust pipes where it's difficult to get a good, solid, clean weld. The wait was a little long but well worth it in my opinion. He called me over to check it out and I couldn't tell the truck was running until I got to the tailpipe and heard the sound I was looking for. The job was done well, it's solid and, a clean job. I couldn't be happier with the job done. A good job at a good price and I would certainly, recommend Big Brother to someone else and look forward to future work that I couldn't perform myself.”

“I recently had my engine replaced at Stan’s automotive thanks to a recommendation from Mack’s Automotive in Midlothian. I dealt with Kyle and Kevin and these two guys are extremely good at what they do with everything. This is a reflection of the leadership for the entire shop. Not only did they replace my engine, but they also diagnosed other issues that I didn’t know exactly what the issue was initially, such as my transmission slipping (felt like it needed a tuneup to me) and wheel bearings starting to fail. Throughout the entire process, Kyle would call me periodically to give me updates and recommendations which I am very grateful for. The knowledge he portrayed about what was going on and what he recommended needed to be done with concern of costs to me above the initial quote made me have more trust and confidence in the work that Stan’s Automotive was doing, specifically Kevin doing all the work. This type of work is expensive no matter what shop you use. But Kyle was up front and honest about everything and that means more to me than cost. I know it was done right the first time. Very happy with the job they did and can have my family members drive this vehicle with confidence for a long time to come. Everything they do comes with a warranty backed up with confidence. I highly recommend this shop for your automotive needs.”

“About a month ago my air conditioning went out, which is not a good situation during a Texas Summer. Duncanville Automotive & Muffler got me in quickly and fixed my air conditioning so I don’t have to sweat while driving! They sent me pictures, a video of what they found with a quote to repair. I appreciated them reminding me to get my breaks replaced. I can definitely feel the difference when I'm breaking now. They even found me a discount to save me some money. “I grew up with a mechanic who took care of all our cars until he passed away when I was in my early twenties. After moving to Dallas, I struggled to find a trustworthy mechanic, whether at a small shop or a dealership. I often encountered issues such as incomplete work, mistakes, or even had to request my old parts back to ensure I was receiving the services I paid for.
However, I accidentally discovered Carlin's when I lived in Duncanville for a year, and it has been an amazing experience. This place is incredible – they don't try to upsell you. Instead, they explain what repairs are needed, what can wait, and what can't. Their pricing is fair and honest, and all the technicians are polite, professional, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable. They do fantastic work!
I assure you, you won't regret going to Carlin's. It’s almost a one-stop shop, and I believe they plan to expand their services to include front-end alignments, which would cover almost everything you need. If there’s something they can't do, they’ll let you know and refer you to someone reliable.
I truly hope this place lasts for another 25 years, as that’s about how long I have left on this Earth. I would love to know that I can rely on Carlin's for every car I own in the future, without worrying about whether the vehicle will be safe and roadworthy. It wouldn't let me post this without a photo so I'm posting a picture of the car they worked on which was a 2018 Chevrolet Sonic LT which by the way they no longer make on the parts are from Mexico and Canada which can be expensive and hard to find but I never have any issues when I take it to Carlin's.”

“Excellent Service! Professional, timely, and clean is what you expect and here is where to get it. They replaced a side window that was destroyed by a rock, which required removing the interior panel. They did it quickly, the door panel looks undisturbed, and vacuumed all the glass. From the time I called them to a finished job was 3 1/2 hours. Thanks again.”

“Got my driver’s side doors fixed by these guys about 3 weeks ago, and they did an amazing job! The damage is completely gone, and my car looked brand new when I got it back.
