βGreat place to stop, run in and get what you need. Employees are very helpful!! Pharmacy group really helpful and kind! You can get almost everything you need at the Neighborhood Walmart like groceries, paper products, meds, etc. Great place for a quick stop.β
βI typically love coming to this location. We have a grocery store right across the street from our house but come here because we save so much money! However, on occasion, like today, I came intending to do a full shopping trip and there was like no produce at all at 2:00 p.m. I asked the cashier if they got their truck she said they did but it was small. She said they get a truck everyday but tomorrow they were expecting to get a whole lot of produce and meat. ? I guess Iβll have to take another trip to a different Aldi location. ??ββοΈβ
βI can always find something new to try here. The meat selection is top notch. Love the wine offerings as well.
Update: This store recently went through a reset. Still getting used to the new layout. Seems like there's quite a few new items. As always, still love their produce section! Also loving the Meal Simple offerings. They really expanded them. Not sure when or if we will be getting a BBQ area to replace the one they closed out.

βProbably my favorite location it's super clean! It's usually very busy so I like to do groceries pick up which is always very fast and thew few times that I did get produce that wasn't good anymore they refunded me immediatelyβ
βOnly reason I give 4 stars is because the E85 pumps are right next to the regular pumps, so I have to wait on these non-E85 users to get out of the way so I get get to one of the two E85 pumps. Its a huge pain when its busy. If they were separate, I'd have no complaints at all. Sounds nit-picky, but everything else is ok. They have good fuel prices, it's the cheapest E85 around here.β
βWithout a doubt the most amazing Dollar General! Every aisle is neat and STOCKED. I had no idea DG sold so much stuff because, for once, I could see it all. Made me want to spend all my money there. But I just bought vitamins.β
βEasy to use service but out of the 3 times I've used it nobody has contacted me about changing my items. I'll still use it being it makes things simple and efficient.β

βIf youβve never been to Puerto Rico but want to feel like youβve stepped right onto the island β go visit the Puerto Rican market in Killeen, Texas! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere wrapped me up in pure island vibes. The music, the warmth, the culture β everything felt so authentic, I literally felt like I was in Puerto Rico.
And let me talk about that Cuban sandwichβ¦
O M G. ? Perfectly toasted bread, juicy meat, melted cheese, and flavors that just melt into your soul. Every bite was unreal. This sandwich alone is worth the trip!
Friendly staff, great energy, and food that hits your heart and your taste buds β this place is a must-try. Highly recommend! ?β¨???β

A year later....
Well, their beer collection has gone downhill. They do have great Sushi deals on Wednesdays. Just $7.00 each!β
βAfter a rough, long hot day I walked to HEB fuel center for a cigar. Upon my arrival the place was immaculate. Drink fridges were stocked and labels all perfectly facing out. The trash cans were aligned at pumps with no overflow and the pumps appeared to have been recently cleaned. As I made my way up to the window and met Henry where it was well lit and shelves of items all perfect and easy to shop for what I needed. Henry spoke clearly and loudly through the speaker and was a pleasure to speak with. He certainly went out of his way to ensure the little time he had with my quick visit to have an impact on me and make a difference in the lives of people around him. He surely allowed me to forget the days problems and smile for a second before I went on my way.

βI'm sending this rating directly for your manager at this location. Jen. She is always kind, attentive, and wears the biggest smile on her face. I once saw her make all the time in the world for a man who was clearly down on his luck and in desperate need of a friendly face. He checked out slowly, talking her ear off the whole time but her patience never waned and her attention never faltered even as the line continued to grow behind him. The same attention and care was then lavished on each remaining customer as she kindly told him she needed to get back to work but she looked forward to seeing him soon. Unlike the likely 200+ times I heard that sentiment this week, I know he believed her because she genuinely meant it. Jen is a warm, bright light in a cold, dark world and I hope her employers recognize how truly lucky they are to have her as the face of this location.β
βThe food is sooooo amazing the only down fall is I don’t speak enough Spanish and they don’t speak enough English lol but the food and variety of groceries is the best in the area ❤β
βDuring these times folks are angry and in a rush but th e customer service was cool calm and very focused. May seem like it's just the dollar store but it's the little things that go a long way. Thank you folks for being available for the public and staying clean and having the little things that we usually wouldnt think to even look for at your stores. βLocation: 9630 S. State Hwy 36, Gatesville, Texas 76528. Parking is plentiful, parking lot clean. People ordering at the food trailer, on the edge of the parking lot. Store entrance is clean and free of clutter.A pleasant, subtle clean scent upon entering the store. The tall owner/manager and her lady cashier pleasantly welcome as I enter.I came back asking a question, they immediately pause their conversation and are attentive and helpful. The store manager took care to walk me through all the areas that offered different kinds of wipes (the item Iβm looking for).The manager also showed me the $1 aisle, where I found lots of bargains on products I use, and some for my elderly mother.The store was clean and organized. I have marked this location as my all-time favorite and will stop in whenever traveling through. This is without a doubt the nicest Dollar General I have ever been to β Highly Recommend!β

When it comes to fuel, even though there's several of there's in the area, you'll pay 5-20 cents a gallon more, pathetic, nothing but greed with it's CEOs.β

βIf your friend or relative works too many hours or 12 hour shifts, she or he can call their doctor to place an order or refill at this pharmacy, and you can pick it up for them. Just know their full name and date of birth. Use their credit card or have them reimburse you. Custome Service is very polite and knowledgeable when you don't understand over the counter related prescriptions.β
βI've been going here for years and not once have I ever had an employee ask to help take my groceries to the car. I ended up and a register with a kind young lady with a smile ready to help. As she was ringing up my groceries we engaged with each other. Picking up her vibe was outstanding. I had mentioned to for her to not make bags to heavy because I was still healing from surgery and ai couldn't carry a certificate amount of pounds. She had no problem with my request. Then she offered to walk my groceries to my car and unload them. Gloria was this young lady who did an amazing job. Her customer service was genuine and OUTSTANDING! We need more Gloria's, give this girl a raise an advancement.. well deserved! I give her 10 stars ? Thank you Gloria's for your kind serviceβ

I do love my HEB- great quality of produce, meat, and seafood. I spend too much money here and I keep coming back.β

βOne of my favorite gas stations/Convenient stores in town! I've been going there since I was knee high to a grass hopper and it's used to be Called COOKS!β
βThe pharmacy was exceptional ?. I was late and missed their closing time. I had called them and they got it ready for me and stayed an extra 10 mins to process it out. I am so greatful cause my son needed that medicine. They were very patient and kind through out the entire time. Awesome job, and once more Thank you all. ?β
βThis location can become very congested. In the future, I hope a hard line rule can be put in place about the direction of traffic and how traffic should flow. It's a safety concern for me. The traffic should go just one way to alleviate congestion, and the customers should adhere to HEB rules, or the customer can take their business elsewhere. Safety is of the utmost importance at a fuel center. I don't feel safe when utilizing the fuel center in Harker Heights, Texas. Therefore, rules should be established, followed, and enforced while customers patronize a fuel center.β
βAlways have a good experience at this small neighborhood market and go there mostly for food, or pet food. They didn't have my favorite yogurt tonight but usually find everything I need.β
