“One of the best places to stay in Pasadena, conveniently close to Houston. I stayed here for 3 days and had a really comfortable experience.
From check in at the reception to the restaurant service, the entire staff was extremely supportive, polite and professional. The rooms were spacious, perfectly clean, tidy and well arranged with all the basic amenities. Proper hygienic conditions are well maintained throughout the hotel which makes the stay even more comfortable and worry-free.
They serve a buffet breakfast every morning while lunch and dinner are available with an à la carte menu service. The food was average but included vegetarian options which was a plus.
Another highlight is the free transportation provided to nearby shops like Walmart and Best Buy. They even give a $5 coupon for the Houston Space Center, which is a thoughtful touch for travelers.
Overall, it was a relaxing, hygienic and comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Pasadena or Houston.”

“Hands down one of the best guest service experiences we have ever had. Charmaine at the front desk is exceptional. From the moment we called in when we arrived at the airport, to check in & throughout our stay, she made us feel welcomed, valued & taken care of. As frequent travelers, we notice great service when we see it, and Charmaine truly stands out.
Our teenage girls even mentioned how friendly she was, which is rare praise coming from teens. She goes above and beyond for guests, and how we were treated, confirmed we made the right choice staying here.
The airport shuttle was a huge plus, and the driver was super friendly. The hotel was clean & the beds were comfortable. Staying here & Ubering to the cruise port was a smarter option than paying premium prices to stay in Galveston. Highly recommend this hotel!”

“My family stayed here for a wedding and we loved it. Great location downtown. It is located in a business district so it was actually pretty quiet and laid-back on the weekend. We played with our young daughter in the open courtyards around the hotel and walked to the public library when we had some time off. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Mel was great. She would check in on our daughter and ask her about how being a flower girl in the wedding was going. She gave her bubbles to play with and really made her feel welcomed. We would definitely stay again.”

“This was the best hotel stay I have ever experienced in Houston. Staff was the absolute best. I forgot her name but I believe it's Danielle. She need a raise. She for sure have the best customer service. I will only book here from now on the Houston area. Only issue was my fridge wasn't cold. Baby from her service I didn't even complain or care. Everything else was 10 out of 10 from breakfast, cleaning, checking in to make sure I'm good, towels, the pool, washer and dryer and the gym. ? love it here. If that's not her name tell her forgive me but I checked in at 3pm on Saturday June 8. Tell her I will see her in July?”

“I love the new Laquinta Inn design and theme.Its fresh and elegant.
Got here for the night as I had business in the area.I was greeted with a very inviting open plan and classic deco that was just so warming.
Check in was a breeze and our room was clean and tidy.
We came and sat at the bar where Kimberly stole the show.She was really engaging and a joy to have as a bartender
We spent time chatting up Kimberly who is very knowledgeable about the local restaurants and activities in the area.
The only downside to this stay was the smoke detector which went on all night intermittently even though there was no smoke.
Will definitely come back and stay at this location.Price and value for money!!!”

“The front desk attendants are very sweet, they greet you with smiles and always around for your needs. I’ve stayed in a hotel recently that would leave a note that they’d be back and guests were just waiting for whatever they needed. Holiday Inn is just well managed in general. Had to use 5 days to keep diamond status before the end of the year and it has a nice clean hot tub that works. Enjoyable place to lay your head.”
“It's a real pleasure to write a review like this when it's well deserved. This is a fantastic hotel--what you see is indeed what you get. The photos are accurate, no filter games or deception. Hotel is management is stellar, and they believe that the customer is always right--even when they're not. My room was cool, clean and comfortable, with that added modern touch. The pool is perfect for a dip, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops near by if you don't want to drive into the city to get those odds and ends you might need. I had everything I wanted or needed, and any concern I had was immediately addressed and cured. Thanks Bre, and the Hampton Inn team. You made my stay :-)”

“I stayed here for an interview I had in the area. I didn't get the job but my stay was perfect. They are located in a perfect area and had GREAT SERVICE security guard even made sure I got to my Lyft safe in the early morning hours. Definitely recommend them for anyone staying in downtown Houston.”

“I stayed at The Magnolia Houston for four nights (January 19–23, 2026) and had a good overall experience.
The room was clean and comfortable, though I did find a discarded press-on nail on the floor one evening, which was a bit surprising. Aside from that, housekeeping was solid. WiFi was reliable, and the bathroom and shower were very good — great water pressure and well maintained.
The on-site gym is about average. It’s fine for a basic workout, but the treadmills aren’t great quality. The rooftop pool is nice but fairly small, so don’t expect a resort-style setup.
Front desk and bell service were excellent — friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. One of the real highlights of the hotel is the second-floor restaurant, The Dispatch. The food quality and selection were excellent. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, as well as the lunch and dinner options.
The hotel is conveniently located downtown, close to the convention centre and other attractions. That said, one block over near the metro line can feel a bit sketchy, and you do need to stay alert when walking around, especially in the evening.
The hotel itself was quiet, not overly crowded, and comfortable — which I appreciated. Overall, I would recommend staying here, particularly for business travel or convention visits, and I’d happily stay again.”

“There are fairly limited options in the area and we found this to be one of the nicer hotel options available. The location is conveniently located right off the highway with several dining options nearby you could even walk to. There is also grocery and shopping areas very conveniently located close. They offer limited continental breakfast that varies each day. It wasn’t gormet but great for grab and go. The rooms were clean and modern. The restrooms could use some maintenance (at least in our room). The water pressure in the sinks are so overwhelming that they literally spray everywhere when using. The showers unfortunately are lacking any pressure whatsoever. Overall a decent place to stay locally.”

“The location is right downtown. I would give it more stars if there was more to do downtown as for entertaining cigar smokers. There's the open Roof Top lounge which caterers more to the general public doing the after hours. Absolutely no place to lounge and smoke a cigar and have a drink together. No patios or green spaces at all. Either you purchas a drink and consume it at the bar or you leave the hotel and stand on the corner and smoke your cigar. But you couldn't do both due to security not allowing alcoholic beverages outside of the hotel. No cigar lounge or bar to allow smoking within walking distance at all.”

“I actually had a nice stay here! Ended up paying for a whole week. But I had to take a star off because..... The rooms are pretty outdated and the bedding is poor quality. But other than that, I had a very nice stay! The manager and staff at this hotel are very friendly & helpful. Good customer service! Oh and just a heads up, there are absolutely no vending machines or any food or drinks you can buy on the property...so make sure you bring your own!”

“I had a great experience. The staff was the nicest. From the front counter, to maintenance, to house keeping. We notified them that we would be arriving earlier than the check in time and they accommodated us and had our room ready! The breakfast was hot and great all three days. On Friday they offered complimentary cookies which were delicious and soft! The room was clean and comfortable as well as the entire hotel. They have a pool and hot tub. It has restaurants near by so it's not much travelling for food unless you're looking for something special or particular along with convenience stores. Located about 7 miles from Downtown Houston. I would definitely stay again and encourage others to visit”

“I have been staying at this location since 2010 so that I can attend the Houston International Quilt Show. Over this time period I have always had a clean room, courteous service and felt safe staying here alone.
The family that has the location is so nice and pleasant to everyone. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay.
This location is great because it has easy access to many restaurants, activities and the quilt show.
