“I was craving barbacoa so I called them. I was glad to know that had some left upon seeing it was after 12 noontime .The man on the other end said that they had some left . I thought would be greasy and to my surprise it was not nor dry but, just right! It saw so good ! I loved the taste that I was still craving it the next day. Will definitely be back for more.I usually go to Garza’s but there’s always a long line and now that I tasted Moreno’s I will buy from them from now on.”

“It's so much less expensive going to get milk, bread and eggs among other things at Dollar General then the grocery stores. Dollar General is so conveniently located in my neighborhood and where else can you get a gallon of fresh Hygeia milk for $2.50? Their milk is so fresh because they sell so much of it that it's constantly turning over!”

“This is our go-to store for quick random things like if we need a tomato we need serrano pepper, cilantro, Clamato Cubano, Menchaca fajita seasoning, etc. Unfortunately it was closed during Christmas day so I went to look for Cano's food store. They have posted that you have to wear a mask all over the door and I thought that they had just forgotten to take down the signs. But it looks like they think they live in North Korea. That is the last time I am visiting that store. Good luck finding communist sheep customers to continue to visit your store. And to the owner of Cano''s food store: good luck surviving in a capitalist economy where you're surrounded literally by 7 larger stores all around your area that don't think they're in communist California or communist North Korea.Mr G's on the other hand, does not require a mask because I think they open a book every once in awhile and don't feed off of mainstream media.”

“HEB is a great store with lots of choices. This is a smaller store and is undergoing a renovation. Very crowded and parking lot a mess but staff is friendly, helpful and intelligent.”

“I like HEB. I am able to get most everything I need/want.I like that I can get my car sticker, stamps etc. Right there at the store.It's usually pretty busy, and its a very large store. It's sometimes a bit overwhelming. It's definitely fresher food than Walmart for groceries.Could be a little cleaner, in my opinion. Could just need some inside up dating???All in all a good experience.”

Cashier was sick and wiping her nose and face with hands and touching store merchandise that will be later sold. *update* 2/4 Gave the store a second shot and cashier Ariana cleaned up the last shifts mess. “Yum yum give us ALL some!! Absolutely delish! This is a mom n pop location, love it. Authentic Philippines cuisine, I miss it. There's also an Asian mini mart in same area on one side, from moon cakes to those shrimp chips, drooling over here. Like mom use to make!! Service was swift n attentive, only thing you might want to keep in mind, food is pretty fresh n made in small portions and since we went a bit later, once made n close to closing time, what's made is made n that's all. So get there earlier than we did. The pancit n bagogee were spot on!! Lovd the dessert drink with the noodle strings in them, went back for another!! Don't forget the sweet sticky rice wrapped in bamboo, had to go back n get another!!! Tired of the same 39 Mexican restaurants, open your mind n try something different n delicious!! Eat up n enjoy!!”
