“Great store! Almost always somethimg going on with their weekly ads unadvertised at store or they dont have the product advertised out on floor, this has happened at different HEB's in Harlingen San Benito area, in reference to meat department”

“Iove when they are giving samples of things. You get try them before buying. I got these granola bars HEB brand that are pretty good and got a free item for purchasing. The deals are pretty good throughout the store. I love their set up and how they have the produce. Everything is fresh.”
“I enjoy all of their tacos here, and the people, for the most part, are friendly. Love the drive-through option. I only ask they make more of the bean and egg tacos. It's a most popular taco, and they always run out, and if I am not there early enough, they run out. Lol!”
“Kloe was our curbside attendant and she was phenomenal. When she opened the back door to my vehicle she noticed I had a cooler in the back seat and offer to break the ice and proceeded to place the ice in the cooler. Kloe was professional, polite and friendly. H-E-B has the best the team they go above and beyond for their customers. Thank you HEB and thank you Kloe.”

“I was craving barbacoa so I called them. I was glad to know that had some left upon seeing it was after 12 noontime .The man on the other end said that they had some left . I thought would be greasy and to my surprise it was not nor dry but, just right! It saw so good ! I loved the taste that I was still craving it the next day. Will definitely be back for more.I usually go to Garza’s but there’s always a long line and now that I tasted Moreno’s I will buy from them from now on.”
“We moved from Fort Worth, Texas., where CBS was where we went. Been in Harlingen for 3 1/2 years. By far the HEB Pharmacy on Morgan St., is the most efficient the staff in the pharmacy are the greatest. They are always polite, courteous, and very well informed.”
“Lately I've really enjoyed shopping at Walmart, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have a messed up back and the workers did not hesitate to help after I ask, the prices are like non other. Walmart is very clean and open minded and I still can't believe the the selection they have it the deals you can get”

The adjacent dining room is always clean and so is is the store.

“I love dollar general because you can find almost anything there now,some have frozen goods a large assortment,and your other everyday needs ,,,my grandkids love this store makes it quick and easy ,somethings may cost a tiny bit more,but for your gas and convenience uts so worth it especially if it is right down the street ,or close by I highly recommend for most essentials”

“This store is as good as it can be, but its getting to the point where I am triggered every time I shop there. No more Knorr Holandaise mix. No more constant comment tea. In March, I was told summer sausage was seasonal. Today I was told jalapeno bacon was seasonal. Put a damn label on stuff that is seasonal so we can stock up. Since when is bacon OR jalapeno seasonal in Texas. This is not the local managements fault. I seriously am considering ordering food from Amazon.”

“Today has been a hectic day for me getting everything in order for my knee surgery tomorrow and I’ve had trouble at every turn today getting the information I needed from my workman’s comp claim. I couldn’t get any information from any Dr’s office I’ve been to help me get the group numbers I needed to fill my prescriptions. It was just all running in circles. Within 10 minutes at HEB the team there at the drop off side got everything I needed and got me squared away. I’m extremely grateful and impressed with their service!”

“Best grocery store. Plenty of options on fruits , vegetables and meat products. The deli is great as well and you have to try the store brand ice cream and ice cream cakes. The Asian foods section needs more options.”
“Great customer service from the workers, I love how friendly they are and how quick it is to go pick up all the benefits you have on your WIC card. They advise you of all your options of different foods available to you and also have them displayed for easy viewing. My baby was drinking a formula that was on back order everywhere and they went above and beyond in calling me as soon as they had some for me to go pick up. The store itself is clean and right around the corner from the WIC office which is convenient especially for quick pick-ups after appointments. The store hours work really well with my schedule for after work, weekends and even those last minute end of the month runs. I definitely recommend.”

“It's so much less expensive going to get milk, bread and eggs among other things at Dollar General then the grocery stores. Dollar General is so conveniently located in my neighborhood and where else can you get a gallon of fresh Hygeia milk for $2.50? Their milk is so fresh because they sell so much of it that it's constantly turning over!”

“The store is excellent but remember you have to sometimes wait on certain departments like sports for someone to actually help you. The prices cannot be beat unless you go to Academy Sports which have comparable pricing like Walmart. Still the edge goes to Walmart.”

“I like the fact that at any Dollar General you can be in and out pretty quickly. It's my idea if an expanded version of a convenient store without the gas but with much much better prices . Lol not to mention the Dollar Zone, yep, that still sells great stuff that still costs a dollar.”

“This small hidden spot is well worth a visit. The food is packed with flavor and exuding the love of those who prepared it. If you e never had pacific rim food and have questions they are more than ready to inform and allow you to sample before buying. The pork adobo is so tender it falls apart at the sight of the fork. The banana lumpia are a fantastic ending to a quick and delicious lunch stop.”
