“This is what a bank should be!! After been turned down for a used vehicle loan for $10,000 with a credit score of 803 at Extraco Bank in Woodway, where I had my commercial checking account for my business, I turned to the other bank where I keep my personal checking account which is Pointwest Bank. I haven't been a customer for very long, actually I had been a customer at Extraco for longer, and I have never borrowed money from this bank before, but I went to the branch Manager/Vice President who is Terri Lankford and she is so super nice and helpful. She explained that the value of the truck that I was wanting to purchase DID in fact appraise enough to borrow against, although that is exactly the reason that Extraco Bank turned me down. The loan paperwork was super fast and easy, and I had a same day decision to where it took Extraco 3 days to decline my loan. This to me was like old school banking where loaning money to customers is what there job is and it doesn't have to be difficult. There was no loan committee, no underwriting, etc. Just the branch manager caring enough about the needs of her customer. I'm sold on the service, and I hope that this review helps others make a decision on where to bank.”

I would like to take a moment to recognize the outstanding customer service I received at the Valley Mills Drive branch on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
When I arrived to open a new personal checking account, the front desk employee, Nayah, was welcoming, professional, and attentive. She kept me informed throughout the process and made sure I was taken care of as quickly as possible during a busy time at the branch.
Although Damien Rodriguez was assisting another customer, I appreciated how personable and customer-focused he appeared to be with everyone in the lobby. It was clear that he values relationships with customers and takes time to provide quality service.
I was ultimately assisted by Jaylin Vega, and she was extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. I explained that I was opening a new account as part of reorganizing my personal finances and beginning a fresh chapter financially. Jaylin took the time to carefully walk me through the account options, answer my questions, and make sure I fully understood everything before moving forward.
I also brought in a check that I intended to deposit into the account, and Jaylin thoroughly explained the bank’s policies and procedures regarding that type of check. I genuinely appreciated how careful and detail-oriented she was. Rather than simply processing paperwork quickly, she made sure I understood the responsibilities associated with the deposit and took the time to protect both the customer and the bank by being thorough.
One thing that really stood out to me was how seriously the staff took their responsibilities. Jaylin asked thoughtful questions about the account and future funding plans, which demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. In today’s environment, it is reassuring to see banking employees who prioritize security, compliance, and customer understanding.
The entire team made me feel welcomed and respected throughout the visit. As someone who works in customer service management myself, I understand how important professionalism and communication are when working with the public. Nayah, Damien Rodriguez, and Jaylin Vega represented your branch exceptionally well and deserve recognition for their excellent service.
