The moment I drove onto the property, I knew this was the venue for me. It felt like being transported straight into a storybook — the ivy, the ornate details, the moody, romantic aesthetic. And then there’s Lisa — an absolute beast (in the best way possible)! She’s fierce, on top of every detail, and keeps you grounded from the very start. She’s quick to remind you of the logistics and finer points that make the day run flawlessly. I appreciated her so much for that — she kept me focused and organized while constantly reassuring me that I was in the most capable, protective hands.

On the day of the wedding, everything came together perfectly. Guests kept telling me it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, and I know so much of that is thanks to the venue and Lisa’s expertise.

“A couple of years ago, we faced the difficult task of organizing a memorial for my brother, and we chose the Formula Garage in Houston as the venue. From the very beginning, the experience was made truly memorable and heartfelt by the owner himself. They went above and beyond to ensure the day was as special as it could be under such challenging circumstances. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference.

What made the experience even more meaningful was the incredible display of McLaren cars at the venue. McLaren happens to be our last name, and my brother and I always shared a deep love for the brand. We would often joke and argue over who would be the first to buy one. Seeing those sleek, powerful cars lined up at the Formula Garage was an unexpected yet deeply personal touch that felt like a tribute to our shared dreams. I could almost feel his presence there, smiling and nudging me as if to say, “I told you I’d win.”

Not only did we host the memorial at the Formula Garage, but we also rented the adjoining home for our immediate family to spend the night together. This gave us the opportunity to share more time and reflect on the cherished memories we held of my brother. The house was absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, spacious, and filled with unique touches that felt so fitting. My brother would have loved it; it truly felt like a space that honored his spirit and passions.

Although it was an incredibly emotional day, the atmosphere and care provided by the host made it easier to navigate. The venue itself was immaculate, with a warmth and energy that allowed us to celebrate my brother’s life in the way he deserved. The staff and owner turned what could have been an unbearably difficult day into one filled with love, meaning, and even a few smiles; and for that I will always be grateful.”

“I was there for the Juneteenth Houston Press Conference and Kickoff. I love the EB. I wish we had something like it in my community. Very nice, very well kept, friendly staff. The finger that's they passed looked really good. I only ate a deviled egg and week drummette, but both were delicious. I asked about rental process. I'd like to do an event there. There was another event happening downstairs as well.”

“I had the pleasure of DJing a Debut at this venue for my client. There are many positives to this space from the client side. I'll list a few: Gorgeous design. Spacious layout. Bright, luxe decore. Powerful and modern lighting and sound capability (I saw the equipment but didn't use). Welcoming and attentive staff. Ample parking. Nice bar, lobby and bathrooms. My only regret was the lack of cell service, due to the building construction (metal?). Also, the provided venue wifi was not strong enough to run our wifi enabled photo printer, so printing was sporadic. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. Connectivity aside, this venue is a great location for upscale social or corporate events.”

“We saw a fun Christmas show with several well-known local musicians who put on a great show. The venue is retro, but very interesting and well suited as a concert venue. Book early if you want to reserve a table up front, but there is plenty of floor and balcony seating. We sat downstairs in the row seating and the views were fine. Next time, we'll probably try balcony seating to get that view of the show. We look forward to attending more concerts here in the future.”

“this place is a hidden gem. It's literally next to an auto towing storage place on a small street so it's a little confusing when people arrive and see the exterior, looks almost like a warehouse, BUT it's gorgeous inside. I got the quince package that included basically everything, tables, chairs, linens, quince table, flowerwall or red carpet, centerpieces, table settings, DJ, uplighting system, full wall projects, bar access (1 bartender /100 guests, garnishes and mixers), servers, catering, cake, fruit table, photo & video, photobooth, limo (we actually swapped out limo for 4 additional servers so we could have a sit down dinner instead of buffet style), gift & cake tables, unlimited water, tea and lemonade, outdoor patio space, event coodrinator, courtesy officer and cleaning staff. They have smaller packages, but I wanted the least amount of stress possible. Rosy and Alexis were really good at answering all my questions and providing the best services. One of my favorite things about this venue is their event organization system. I made all the payments online, they have an online portal where I could ask any questions, review our contract, make payments, etc. Most venues I visited did not have this, they just give you a hand written paper receipt and that's it. I'm a s***** for doing things online, so this was really high on my list of things I loved. Another thing I liked a lot was the full wall projectors. I personally made the design of the projection I wanted (I'm OCD like that) but it gave a really nice ambiance to the entire room. I'd never seen anything like this before. I always see just 1 or 2 small projectors or sometimes TVs that have the quinces name and that's it. Also, the fact that they have basically surround sound, that the DJs just hook up to was amazing. Not one of our guests had to sit in front of the large speaker DJs usually have. The DJ just hooks up to their speaker system and that's it. It actually leaves more space for the tables and whatnot. So I can't rave enough about this place. The centerpieces were beautiful. We absolutely loved it. The service Alexis provided on the day of was perfect. All the vendors we worked with through the venue were great. They don’t cut any corners at all. The VIP room in the back is perfect for getting ready. Spacious bathrooms and lots of mirrors for the teens & young adults taking selfies. Overall an amazing venue.”

“We love popping in to POST for the great variety of foods and the iconic rooftop view of downtown. If you can go on a weekday/non Holiday, it's not expensive to use the paid parking lot.”
