“I ran out of stars on here to give, so we will add another 50 on the side. I cannot say this enough.....TERRACE ANDERSON IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!

Let me start by saying we used this beautiful venue for a wedding. Shari, Christina, Zelinda and Barb were the best to work with. We had a guest list of around 50 people and this place did not deliver......THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! My bride is from overseas, so most of the planning landed on my shoulders. Anderson Terrace provided a great all-inclusive package, that although affordable, was certainly not cheap in quality or service. After working in customer service for over 25 years, working with Shari and her staff was such a delight. They actually care in their words, actions and constant communication. They are all very transparent and are there to serve the customer. Christina was our assigned coordinator and she felt more like a friend than a business contact. She took care of so much for us, took interest in our love story, and helped in all the details from selecting our decorations, colors, music, program, food.....YOU NAME IT!

Was the food good? Ummm....yeah! We had the BBQ and our family and friends loved it....hardly had left overs. The cake was more than enough for all of our guests and if I may suggest....get the bottom layer chocolate....our guests sang praises on how the staff served BOTH vanilla AND chocolate in one serving. Family asked for the leftovers.....so it disappeared the day after.

What about the DJ? He kicked A$$! Got the feel for the multicultural and multi-genrational crowd and hit it right on the money. If he didn't know it, he invited our guests to step on up and request what they wanted. He was a crowd favorite!

What about the bar tender? You ever have that cool friend that loves to make drinks at home and have fun? That was our bartender! Another crowd pleaser!

Photographer? (haven't received our photos...it's only been 2 days, but I am sure they will be great).... He was amazing as well. He got creative and remained active the entire night and he even took requests. As a hobbyist photographer, I can say that he really worked the crowd, got all the angles I was thinking about and then some. Gave me such peace of mind.

Our officiant, Cookie, was the sweetest! My bride and I spent quite some time over the phone the week before the wedding so she could get our story, gave us a bit of her own story and was able to so graciously accommodate a special Indonesian custom into our ceremony. She executed with care and sincerity...we loved her!

The scenery was gorgeous....open field in the background with the sun peaking in and out of the clouds as it set. I swear, this place even negotiated with the weather because it was perfect. The inside of the house, including the serving area, the cake room (I don't know what to call it lol) the bathrooms, and the bridal and groom suites were SUPER CLEAN, very nice and super comfortable. I even took a nap before the wedding because Christina, Zelinda and Barb were so proactive and took care of all the guest favors, flowers for our parents....everything!

Finally, our guests were just so amazed on how wonderful the venue was and how down to earth and fun it was. The parents knew the staff by name and Christina even got to know so many of our friends and family. If you are on the fence and are looking something to fit within your budget, go talk to Shari and her staff. She is a straight shooter, but hands down, is there to make sure you have a GREAT experience. I felt that from the start and she won me over. People first, and everything else is second.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“We booked a weekend birthday party. Can’t rave enough about this cute, eclectic mini farm in NW Austin! All of the kids had a great time with the bunnies and seeing the other animals on the property. The owner was very helpful and hands on (provided a tour and shared information about the animals).
Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again!”

“Parking: We had an banquet last night from 6pm - 8:30pm. In that time period, guests from our event had their cars broken into. Windows were broken & items taken. If you are considering having an event at night, hire a security guard with a big dog!!”

“We came from a long distance just to try the Dark Ride 7D, but the screen was not working when we arrived. The staff let us play another game instead, and that one was really nice, so we still had a good time.

Would love to come back when the Dark Ride 7D is fully working.”

“The gym is an upgrade overall over the old one (on the bottom floor) Some parts of the old layout were better, but the current club meets modern standards, and the food options now have enough variety that people are actually fine eating there. The property has gone through a few renovations over the past 25 years.

The golf course is very challenging and pretty hilly, and there’s also a nice driving range just across the street. The pool has a deep end, designated lap areas, and more open space for general swimming. There are also tennis courts and summer camps for kids.”

“Public skate was fun, but there seems to be some confusion about the “walkers”. Was told by manager I had to rent one for 10$ for my 5y/o. But then once public skate started there were several on the side that people were just grabbing. We went around one time without it bc my daughter was feeling confident and someone grabbed the one we paid for. Just sort of feel like if you’re renting skates for a small child you should be offered one without cost since it seems like a free for all once you’re in there. Other than that we had a great time!”

“We had a comfortable stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean and cozy, and although the shower initially had no water pressure, my husband mentioned it to the front desk and they promptly replaced the showerhead — problem solved. Our room faced the gas station, so I was concerned about noise and light, but the blackout blinds worked perfectly and the room stayed quiet.

The only downside for me was the pillows, but that’s on me for not bringing my own. We arrived late and were up early both mornings, but still found the stay restful.

The best part? Round Rock Donuts — the best donuts in the world — is right across the street! Super Target, Ross, and plenty of restaurants are just a block away, and easy access to 183 made getting around simple. Overall, a solid and convenient place to stay.”

“It's really nice having a small theater to go to where you can relax and enjoy a movie on the big screen. The Cinemark is nestled among many boutique local businesses and popular retail destinations giving it the feel of a small and safe community space with various entertainment options for anyone.”

“I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very positive experience. The hotel is quiet, and has a lovely indoor heated pool. Although the hotel is already well maintained, I saw hotel staff arranging new lobby furniture for a decor reset!

Most importantly, the staff is very accommodating- Jessica, the sales specialist made my day by offering a courtesy late check out to accommodate my evening plans. I also found the General Manager to be friendly and helpful.

Thanks for a fantastic stay”

“Im loving this hotel. Had a great experience overall and would definitely reserve another room. Thanks to super.com for saving me with a deal. The pool was clean and cool. The staff was great and even some of the customers!”

“We had a nice time here with our family. It was a little on the pricey side we paid $120 with a $20 dollar deposit. There is no pool you can cook in your room and they have a grill. The only problem with our room was no remote front desk handled that right away. I also had to reprogram the channels but that wasn't anything to complain about it was cool.
The only reason for 4 stars is no pool.”

“Edit: Rooms are nice & roomy. Lobby is warm & inviting with reading nooks. Only a few restaurants & stores nearby. It was a very bad idea to have a hotel next to a place that has outdoor live music (Hautespot)! Couldn't sleep until around 11:30pm! This was not cool...very disappointing!”
