Had the wife and kids running errands and Jim gave us a whole tour and showed us all their cool animals, snakes, sugar gliders, baby tortoises, hedgehogs, chameleons, all types of birds including parrots and toucans. Cool fact, toucans love their beak pet and they purr like cats lol! He was extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and where they were from and how to care for them. You could tell all the animals really love him too, especially his baby bird Mango who sits on your shoulder like a pirate. Overall great experience.

We always grab one of the bone-shaped beef hide chews, which lasts our dog a long time. Last time, we tried out one of the freeze-dried nuggets to use as a topper in our dog's food (we just crumble it with our hands or a fork) and she's still not bored of it yet!The employees here are also so nice and always ask us if we need help. Our dog is very picky, so they even let her sample some of the biscuits to see which ones she liked before we purchased them.

Canine Initiatives goes beyond training your pet, they educated us in the best way to communicate with Shiloh to reinforce good behavior.Hannah was assigned as Shiloh's trainer and from the very beginning we could tell that she was truly knowledgeable, patient and easy to work with. 6840 S Mason Rd #100, KatyFido’s is A+ all around! The owner Andy is so helpful, always responds in a timely manner via text to any questions and very accommodating, even for last minute boarding. We have had our pup there multiple times for boarding and grooming and she always has a wonderful time because Andy and his staff treat her like she is one of their own. When she gets groomed they take care of her ears, nails, do a great de-shedding and she’s so soft and fluffy when done. I highly recommend bringing your dogs here for boarding or grooming, 10/10!

We did the stone grill shareable combo meal to get to try four different proteins. Across from Torchy's Taco, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd R140, Katy⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Best Landing Ever — 10/10 Would Fall Again” So there I was, minding my own business, enjoying the in-flight peanuts at 35,000 feet, when gravity decided to spice things up. One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? Only if you enjoy defying physics and good flavor. ?? “Houston Hot Chicken — where the food slaps harder than the landing.”

The must try flavors (in my opinion) are Lemon Pepper, Hot Honey, and Soy Garlic. I’m totally obsessed with the Lemon Pepper crispy, flavorful, and right amount of zing.
Also, if they’re not sold out, do yourself a favor and grab the creamy mac and cheese. It’s rich, comforting, and pairs perfectly with the wings. Bird Side has officially made me a wing fan. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back.
