Pet Care
Elyson Animal Hospital
23015 FM 529 Ste 800, KatyFirst let me say I love the vet here my dog has been here before she’s wonderful!
I understand that it’s always easier to make appointments for your pet but just like sometimes your children get sick and need same day appointments, it’s the same situation for your pets. I feel like they can never accommodate I’ve had to take my dog to an ER twice now because of this.
Yesterday my husband went in with our dog early morning hoping we could get squeezed in. Okay fine they had no availability of course. BUT my issue is that without seeing our dog at all THEY recommended he go to and ER. They said they had no space and with what my husbands told them they think he should go in because of what needed to be done. My husband them took our dog to the ER where we ended up paying around $320 for them to tell us the procedure he needs done is probably better off done at his regular vet because of the cost. So then I call Elyson vet hospital and they tell me I can’t even get a quote for what he needs done I need to get seen by their Vet and pay their exam fee to then get a quote. I’m frustrated because if they would’ve atleast peeked at my dog they could’ve maybe told me to wait and make an appointment instead of spending 320$ elsewhere and still having to go back to pay the same exam fee to get seen there. Times are tough and I know I’m responsible for my pet and their cost but in this situation it felt preventable considering times are tough.
Money wasted at an ER because our regular vet can’t bear accommodate existing patients.
* update: The doctor called and had a conversation with us and made things right. I think overall it was a learning experience and we feel good about the resolution. We will continue using Elyson for our vet services and feel comfortable doing so.

I was so scared for my dog seeing blood in his vomit. Asked for an appointment immediately. They didn’t have an opening but squeezed me in based on my urgency. I am so grateful.
The vet assistant was so amazing in getting all our details sorted quickly.
Dr. David Buelna at Circle B is a remarkable Veterinarian. We took our dog in for a check up with a serious scare. He made our dog feel completely comfortable by getting down and sitting on the floor and checking him without stressing him out.
He was super knowledgeable and put our minds at ease after his assessment. His demeanor and pleasant personality along with his medical competence was so reassuring. Greatly appreciated and very impressed.
We left within 30 minutes at 1/10th of the bill quoted by the ER the night before. My lesson from this is to get an appointment with Circle B before they close for the day if I detect my dog is unwell.
Love them. Recommend them very highly.

Hendricks Kennels
27008 Sharp Road, KatyWe were at wits end. Our Giant Schnauzer puppy was giving us a serious run for our money, and we needed help. He was jumping on us, nipping at us (e.g. had torn some of my shirts, my arms looked like I had fallen into a rose bush), and really couldn't stay inside more than a few minutes. He bit the furniture, grabbed clothing and blankets. We loved him....but we were starting to not like him, and we felt that he was too much. We actually wrestled with returning him as we did not see any light at the end of the tunnel. Thank goodness we searched for some help.
My wife located Hendricks, and we had him there the next day! Liz guided us in with a clear discussion on what they could do. Edgar was our trainer, a dog whisperer who immediately connected with our beloved and disobedient pup. We saw immediate improvement, and I was brought in to master the basics. It was great. He came home for a weekend, and he was in the house for hours! No nipping, no destruction....he was calmer and he listened. We are so grateful to Edgar, and the Hendricks team, for transforming our puppy into a dramatically better pet. He is a different dog. Do you need some help with your dog? We highly recommend Hendricks!

Canine Initiatives goes beyond training your pet, they educated us in the best way to communicate with Shiloh to reinforce good behavior.Hannah was assigned as Shiloh's trainer and from the very beginning we could tell that she was truly knowledgeable, patient and easy to work with. Will also worked with Shiloh on occasion and was exceptionally good at educating us on how to communicate effectively with Shiloh.I cannot begin to express what a huge positive difference Canine Initiative's training has made in Shiloh's behavior.Thank you, Canine Initiatives!!!!

StoneAge
20940 Katy Fwy C, KatyMy husband and I have eaten here for many a date night and have always loved both the food and the service. Last Friday my parents were in town so we brought them to try it. We had our one year old son who was in a mood, and our server, Nicole, could not have been sweeter about him. The food was amazing as always and Nicole was super attentive and wonderful. At one point, while being passed a metal tray of dipping sauces, I accidentally grabbed the side that had been touching the hot stone and burned my thumb pretty bad. Completely my fault. But Nicole was so attentive, immediately brought me a cup of ice and then some burn cream - the next day you never would know that anything had happened! I already loved this restaurant but our experience this most recent time was exceptional. It’s a splurge but so worth it!
