“Had a great stay here. Had to bring my 65lb dog with me for this trip & they were super chill, no limitations. I had no issues while staying here, & appreciated the quality of the room & how quiet it seemed everyone was!The ONLY MAJOR DOWNSIDE I had was their phone system when calling the front desk before my trip - incredibly quiet each time. If they could update their phone system so it wasn't so quiet (or adjust with louder projection while on the phone), that'd be ideal, as that was frustrating. But the stay was good!Rooms: Nice, clean room. Shower worked great. Big kitchen. Perfect for me & the pup!”

“Don't let the location or the fact it's not a major brand discourage you. The room was spacious and clean. Laminate instead of carpet, fridge and microwave in order, and friendly, unobtrusive staff. No up front incidentals (that many hotels at this break insist on being paid by credit/debit meaning you could wait a week to have your money.Always tell them you'll be paying the deposit in cash, and want a receipt .”

“Been staying at Welcome Motel for almost a week now, and I couldn't be any happier with my stay, the man that works up front is so helpful with anything we need, he has hooked up cable for us, when i had trouble with the tv he came in with another one. He seems to really care about his business ive seen him on numerous occasions working on painting the pavement etc. The room is comfortable showers nice, towels soft definitely recommend and would come back ?”

“I loved this little motel. Check in was smooth, they offered me a late check out because I got there late that was really nice. They have an indoor pool and hot tub that is open until midnight that was awesome, it’s so hard to find a hot tub in Texas! My room smelled nice and I loved the high shower heads in the shower. Nice kitchen with up to date appliances, only sad I didn’t get to use it. Saw some people complaining about the price but it’s honestly ok for what you get.”

“Been here for 3 weeks due to plumbing issue at home....when I checked in, the room was filthy...sheets dirty...hadn't been vacuumed...soap scum on counter...ive only seen housekeeping one time...not pleased at all...noisy bar next door...very loud businesses across the street...looks like hookers and drug dealers hang out here...also...they have signs saying there's no breakfast because of the pandemic....HELLO...THERE IS NO PANDEMIC!”

“My kids and I fell on hard times, and the staff here took us in. We have been her for a while and we have gotten to know everyone that keeps this place running. The staff here are very kind and caring. Whenever we need help with an issue they are always there for us. They are truly wonderful here. Our living area is just right for us. I recommend this place for anybody that is traveling or just needs a place to stay. Very fair price for what you get. Small kitchen with stove, full fridge and much more.Nearby activities: Plenty of restaurants within walking distanceSafety: 24hr 360 camera operationWalkability: Walmart is right behind us”

“Clean room, stayed for a week, never saw a single bug of any kind. Hardwood floors and the staff DID return our deposit. Over all it was simple clean motel room, I never once didn’t feel safe staying here. The beds were actually pretty comfortable.”

“***I thought I posted this review a while back, but I must've forgot. Anyhow, I believe the manager deserves a fair and honest review, albeit a late one.***I'd like to start by saying the freeze in February 2020 was a very stressful time for everyone here in Texas and the fact that this hotel was able to have guests was nothing short of a blessing for me.I booked a last minute stay here because I had been out of power for 4 days and counting.I recognized the manager (Denis) at the front desk when I walked in. (I had to book my mother a stay there about a year ago. Also, a good experience.)He immediately made me aware of the issue with frozen pipes. I had been freezing for 4 days straight, so this was not a deal breaker for me.The room was neat and warm with a large, flat screen tv with working cable. (A lot of people in Killeen also had no cable)There was a small puddle of water by the window where I assume the pipes had leaked. Someone stopped by to look at it, so it was clearly being worked on.I did have to ask for towels but shortly after, the lady brought be warm towels and sheets fresh from the dryer, it seemed.I made my bed, turned on the tv and was the happiest man in earth.The next day, I received a text informing me that my power at home had been restored. With that, I checked out early in hopes of getting a refund, but I understand that is not a guarantee. Either way, I was grateful for the hospitality in such an unexpectedly, stressful situation. It was a well needed place of solace.”
