“I've stayed there before and I love the fact that they're right next to Panera Bread and across from TJ Maxx and the mall. My room was bright and sunny. The front desk staff are accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good, served by Victorianna. I especially enjoy the crispy bacon. See you all next trip!”

“Hawthorn by Wyndham in Killeen has been a wonderful hotel for my husband and I. Despite their amenities being down due to an ownership transfer and rebranding, the staff and the rooms are exceptional. Older, but nonetheless clean and exceptional. If you’re looking for a clean and well maintained cozy hotel, this is it. It hasn’t fallen trap to the ugly modernization sweep yet. We did file a ‘complaint’ about the lack of amenities just so Wyndham could get it sped up. It is not the hotel staffs fault! The management and staff are exceptional people. You will not find friendlier in Killeen.”

“Not alot to say.....basic motel 50 bucks for a night.. bed is stiff, staff needs to clean their air conditioner filters.... restrooms are ok at best The best thing about this place is it's quiet at night... you don't have to worry about people coming in with loud music or drug dealing all hours of the night! Enjoy your stay here”

“Before I got to place i had read reviews and was concerned but after staying in a room I was treated very well.. yes the rooms are much to be desired but at 41.00 what do u expect.. the place had no bed bugs like I had read, they were not rude as a matter of fact the father and son were very friendly, even after losing my room card when I went to dinner, they simply made me a new one at no cost.”

“I stayed there a few weeks ago. When I arrived my blood sugar was very low. On my way in my money envelope fell out in cameras visual distance. Another guest saw the bag and turned it in to the front desk. A few days laterYour manager Hanssen Carrera called me to question my loss. He told me that there was an envelope with a matching envelope for my. Your staff is so honest. I more than appreciate your staffs honesty.i will let my bother and family to only go to your cozy motel. Im looking forward to staying there again. Hanssen deserves to be recognized. He deserves a bonus or raise.”

“***I thought I posted this review a while back, but I must've forgot. Anyhow, I believe the manager deserves a fair and honest review, albeit a late one.***I'd like to start by saying the freeze in February 2020 was a very stressful time for everyone here in Texas and the fact that this hotel was able to have guests was nothing short of a blessing for me.I booked a last minute stay here because I had been out of power for 4 days and counting.I recognized the manager (Denis) at the front desk when I walked in. (I had to book my mother a stay there about a year ago. Also, a good experience.)He immediately made me aware of the issue with frozen pipes. I had been freezing for 4 days straight, so this was not a deal breaker for me.The room was neat and warm with a large, flat screen tv with working cable. (A lot of people in Killeen also had no cable)There was a small puddle of water by the window where I assume the pipes had leaked. Someone stopped by to look at it, so it was clearly being worked on.I did have to ask for towels but shortly after, the lady brought be warm towels and sheets fresh from the dryer, it seemed.I made my bed, turned on the tv and was the happiest man in earth.The next day, I received a text informing me that my power at home had been restored. With that, I checked out early in hopes of getting a refund, but I understand that is not a guarantee. Either way, I was grateful for the hospitality in such an unexpectedly, stressful situation. It was a well needed place of solace.”
