“We came here for a meeting. I believe it could be really neat. It was very cold when we were here and the parking is limited. They have a parking garage across the street which isn't very handy and the rooms all exit outside which could be nice if it had been a little waremer.”

“The staff were friendly, the room was a good size, and mostly clean. The soap scum from the curtains had some build up on the spot by the wall. And house cleaning doesn't get the first behind the toilet, and under the counter area. It leaves you wondering what else they miss. Of the Garden Inns we've stayed at this one doesn't use the shower mount for products, but none of the above would keep us from returning. It was quiet, and again we enjoyed the staff.”

“Had a great experience here. Hotel property is close to loads of restaurants, coffee shops, the university - super convenient. Staff were very friendly, lobby was nice including working spaces and printers etc.The rooms themselves were slightly dated but honestly in really good shape, super clean, and spacious as well. Equipped with a coffee machine, fridge, tv, etc.Breakfast is provided in the morning with lots of variety in terms of food options hot and cold, as well as milk options for coffee cereal and oatmeal.Decent sized fitness center with cardio and weight options available. Indoor pool and some outdoor patio space.Overall really nice spot, highly recommend if in the area!”

“We were there for mandatory training, and we live locally, so we did not stay overnight and cannot comment on the rooms or the service. However, the food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing.”

“This is THE hotel in Lubbock let’s be honest. Is it overrated? Maybe. Is it still great? Of course it is. Had a business meeting with my business partner, and after settling some $$ we checked out the facilities. Didn’t disappoint one bit. Right next to a bar was the only issue I had, but hey what can you do.”

“Incredibly polite staff despite being short-staffed. Clean, comfortable rooms in a convenient location. Only thing that would make it better is if the kitchen came with a few dishes. 5/5 would stay again.”

“I would call this a country bar/karaoke bar. They have karaoke Sunday-Thursday with mixed turn-out, and usually a couple country/rock cover bands on the weekends. Good people, and a great way to experience the locals of Lubbock. My only complaint is that the well drinks are too pricey, but the $2 Keystones kinda make up for it (eventhough some people look at you like some peon when you order them).”

“December 2023-passing through Lubbock and decided at the last minute to spend the night. An excellent deal of 74.00 on Expedia. Check-in was smooth and the lady was courteous and very helpful. There are restaurants (Salt Grass, Taco, Starbucks place & others) (Target , Ross Burlington) and shopping center 1/2 mile away. Main Event fun plex is behind the hotel. Great location! The lobby and room was clean and comfortable. The linens are soft. Plenty of hot water. Shower pressure was medium and fan in bathroom did not work. Heater worked well in the room and easily adjustable with the wall thermostat. The furniture appeared to be new. Pulled off linen’s before using and bed checked out clean. Large room. The amenities were full sized Dove soap’s & shampoo. Would definitely stay here again! Recommend”

“We stayed here while in town playing in a basketball tournament. Our schedule got switched around and they were very accommodating to us. They let us check in early to get ready before our game. Everyone was really nice during our stay! The rooms were clean and the staff was great! Definitely recommend!!”

“Don’t believe the bad reviews, this hotel is good, quiet, and most importantly cheap compared to all other hotels I have found so far. It is in a safe area as well. If you are friendly to staff they will be friendly to you.”

“Great value! Honestly, our usual options were taken, since I was booking only 24-hours before my Lubbock trip. After about 1-hour of checking alternatives and reading reviews, I decided to try Studio 6. My expectations were not high, but this place definitely exceeded them! The staff was extremely friendly, even though I came in around 11pm. The place was "cozy" - not fancy, but clean and adequate. Sheets were clean, no signs of bugs. I needed the heater, and was glad it worked (and was easy to use). A couple of notes: There was a gap under the door, which let light and a bit of cold in. The walls are thin. The water was consistently lukewarm, which is neither great nor is it horrible like hotels that swing from scalding to ice cold in a matter of seconds. I would definitely stay here again as a fallback from my usual choices :)Rooms: Clean, quaint, adequate. Thin walls. Clean bedding!Walkability: Einsteins Bagels across the parking lot was a godsend! La Sirena is by far my favorite Lubbock restaurant, which is literally right across the street (great for a date)! Also looks like there's a new Italian restaurant there, too.Food & drinks: La Sirena is by far my favorite Lubbock restaurant, which is literally right across the street (great for a date)! “Rooms were cleaned to a high standard (even when checked with a black light), tile/ paint/furniture was in good condition. Convenient location with a reasonable selection of restaurants nearby. Excellent choice for a business trip.”

“Surprisingly comfortable beds! We checked in close to 1am so we didn’t see any of the common areas. The room was clean, and there were plenty of cups! The parking lot was well lit. We were able to get a space in view of our room and directly under a light. Awesome! We also brought our pet and he had a comfortable stay. It was quiet enough at night that he slept soundly.”

“I stay at primarily Choice Hotels when traveling. This is definitely one I would stay at again during my next trip in that direction. Clean rooms, quiet hotel, near food and fun.”

“Clean hotel! The room layout is very good and very clean. The room we got comes with a mini kitchen which includes a little fridge, microwave and a sink. Living room has a large LCD tv and plenty of space to sit. Overall, the room is well maintained, nothing is broken and looks new. We will definitely rent again and I highly recommend.”

“This review is about the bar, Koko Inn, not the hotelWith the most unlikely entrance, we found the Koko Inn to be an outstanding example of a wonderful Texas Honky Tonk. The band played a huge range of old and new, mostly country with a little rock and roll. Lotts of dancing and lots of laughs, great drink prices. We are not used to smoky bars, but found a fan we could sit next to and it wasn't too bad. There is no food, though, which would have made it easier to drink more. We will return, for sure.”

“Pleasantly surprised with my stay while traveling through Lubbock in December 2021. The property doesn't look like the typical Sleep Inn (it's either fairly new/ built within the last few years, or a former property purchased by Sleep Inn). My top floor king bed suite was remarkably comfortable, and the desk area in front of the bed was spacious. The walls did not appear to be paper thin, in that I couldn't hear anything at all despite the property being at 100% occupancy. Conveniently located by the Loop, which is a big deal. While I didn't get the opportunity to stay for breakfast, this property is on my list to try again upon my return to Lubbock.”

“I usually don't stay at Courtyards as they're one of the only Marriott brands that doesn't provide breakfast. Rooms were clean and had the normal amenities. Jacuzzi was out of order, though. Also, front desk attendant was gone for a good 5-10 minutes when we first arrived.”

“Nice hotel, clean, nice small workout area, all cardio, I believe, nice small pool, great for kids. Small turtle painted on the bottom, I liked that. Concession area by front desk for snacks.”

“Here on business and I stay in extended stay hotels all the time so I go by the cleanliness and service. The staff has been amazing. Breakfast, social hours, help from the front desk. Yes, the hotel is not brand new, but not ancient either.”

“YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR FAN IN YOUR ROOM!I .... I think I'm an Aloft guy now? I have been staying at them recently as the prices are just right. The rooms are smaller but who cares, it's a rack and a toilet. I'll be just fine. When you walk in it's modern, everyone is friendly, and it has a great smell. Guess I'm hooked by the scent. *shrugs*Location wise this place is situated perfectly. Walkable for food, 7 minutes from the hospital (work), and 12 from the airport. I didn't go to the bar last night, but the gal behind the bar was laughing with guests and genuinely seemed to be happy. The young lady (holy shit I'm getting old) behind the desk was super nice and accommodating. Overall, really like this place! You will too!”

“Most horrible stay. They have mouse or rats. The pictures on the website are not the same. The lady at check out gave no solution. They need better cleaning staff. Big disappointment to the best western name for sure.”

“We needed to overnight at this hotel as we travel to take our daughter to Baylor. This hotel could not have been more accommodating and friendly if they tried. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing helping us get our car and trailer parked safely. After the long drive we were starving, so we gave their on site restaurant a try. The food was DELICIOUS! Kenzie was our server and she was just so great. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.”

“I'm giving them 5 stars across the board for the total presentation of the property. It's not a 5 star Marriot, but it's at the top of its class for it's rating. Not a piece of trash to be found outside, property is about 5 acres so that takes some effort.Very well maintained for what it is, roof, parking lot, and exterior, all top top.Rooms were comfortable, clean, and somewhat modern. A bit of chipped paint behind some of the furniture, could use a few more wall outlets for chargers and laptops.Breakfast was so so, no eggs, but decent potatoes and biscuits. You'll need to nuke the sausage for a few minutes to get the grease out. Real orange juice.”

“This is the worst hotel. They don’t clean your room. They don’t provide extra towels unless you ask. We asked them to clean the room and when we came back, they just put new towels and Took the used ones. They don’t clean the hallways trash or the pool area. We complained to the front desk lady and she said oh okay sorry and looked at us, waiting for us to leave. We came for my uncles funeral and this experience didn’t make it any better. The room smelled old. There was dead bugs in the light fixture.”

“Hotel is a bit older but in good shape and taken care of. Saff is very friendly and takes care of you. pool was dirty and closed for off season but this is expected in winter.Bathroom was recently remodeled and had a rain shower head, a hose shower head for ADA and a regular shower head. The toilet paper rolls were placed behind left of the toilet out of reach.Floors are all tile. Room has 2 locks and checkout is at 11am.Beds are not as great as you would expect but for the price you can't beat staying here. I would stay here again as the staff is nice and rooms are clean.Rooms: Phones, TV, ADA, spacious bathroomSafety: Camera every where and staff watches in lobby.Food & drinks: Breakfast, and vending machines.”

“Staff was friendly and eager to help! Rooms fairly decent but the highlight was the complimentary breakfast and breakfast attendant who went above and beyond to accommodate everyone.Rooms: Reasonably sized beds in one room were amazing soft just melted around you another had a firmer mattress but equally enticing!Food & drinks: The bar was the best I've encountered that is connected to the hotel. Mike the bartender was the best I've ever seen. He was knowledgeable used time management the cleanliness was outstanding.”
