“I went into DXL looking for a suit, and being a bigger guy, finding exactly what I want in the right fit isn’t always as simple as walking in and grabbing something off the rack. I had something pretty specific in mind—a tan/khaki-colored suit—and Carolyn helped me throughout the process.
She really took the time to try to find something that would work for me and get as close as possible to the color and style I was looking for. I appreciated her patience and willingness to keep looking at different possibilities instead of just saying they didn’t have it.
One of the coolest parts of the visit was trying their new sizing technology. They now have a service that actually scans your body to help determine your sizes. The process was quick, easy, and honestly pretty cool! Instead of guessing between sizes or trying on a ton of different combinations, the scan helps pinpoint what should fit your body. My two friends who came along with me decided to do the scan too, so all three of us walked away knowing our sizes.
Unfortunately, we still weren’t able to find the tan/khaki suit I wanted in the fit I needed. But that actually led to probably the best part of the visit. They told me about their custom suit option, which I honestly didn’t realize was available.
The more they explained it, the more I liked the idea. Instead of trying to make an off-the-rack suit work for my body, I can have one made specifically for me—and I can actually choose the fabric I want. As a bigger guy who sometimes has trouble finding the right combination of jacket and pants, having something truly tailored to my body sounds like it may be the better option anyway.
I also want to thank Carolyn and the other employees who helped during our visit. It wasn’t just one person trying to make the sale; several people were willing to help look for options and figure out what might work.
So, no, I didn’t walk out with my suit today—but I definitely didn’t leave disappointed. I walked out knowing my correct sizing, learned about a custom option I didn’t even know existed, and now I’m actually excited about the possibility of having a suit made specifically for me.
Sometimes good customer service isn’t just about selling you what’s on the rack. It’s about helping you find the best solution for what you actually need. DXL did that for me today, and I really appreciate it. I’m looking forward to coming back and hopefully getting that custom suit started! 👔🙌🏾”

“If you have feet with problems. On your feet all day. Toe problems. Go to SAS SHOES. These shoes are hand made in San Antonio Texas. Leather, sturdy, comfortable. They're not cheap, but when they last 20 years, and they are guaranteed you've got it made. I've had the last batch I got for years. As a matter of fact some they stopped making, but I still have a pair. After going about 14 years without getting new shoes, I went shoe shopping today. I was so happy. The daughters took over the business and Hallujah, they have color and bling more after five, church, going out shoes all made by hand w leather that make your feet not hurt. I was so thrilled with the new items. I forgot to mention, they can order your size in a different color as long as that shoe has that color. I wear a 5 1/2. Very hard to find nowadays. I had a ball today and bought 8 new pair of SAS SHOES. I probably won't ever have to buy anymore. I'm 67yo. They last forever. I have the ones I've bought plus when my mom passed I inherited her SAS SHOES, Well they all still fit. So I've probably got 30-40 pair of SAS SHOES bought over a 30 to 40 year time span. I guess my mom and I shouldn't have bought any until the first wore out, the only thing is they never do wear out. Quality made by hand. I love my SAS SHOES MADE BY HAND IN SAN ANTONIO TEXAS. THANKS SAS SHOES”
