“NOT AN ACCOUNT HOLDER, BUT... I just want to commend Austin-Telco for going above and beyond for me. My father passed away in February and unfortunately had no one listed as a beneficiary on his account. Starting from the morning of his passing all the way up until today, the staff went above and beyond the norm in terms of customer service. From offering guidance to what was needed for the process of retrieval of his funds, to working with me on legalities, time and time again I was greeted with great attitudes and willingness to help navigate through a difficult situation. I loved working with her!! She is very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and patient! I let her know I will always ask for her when I come in to the branch but she said she is usually downtown! “What an incredibly pleasant experience during my lunch break! I've been with Austin TELCO for many years now and do most of my banking online or over the phone. This time, when I called to replace my compromised debit card, I was recommended to stop by the nearest bank location. So I did. I had a pleasure visiting the Round Rock location at LA Frontera Village. Not only replacing my debit card took only a few minutes, Megan was probably the sweetest and kindest bank teller I've ever met! Dennis, the supervisor, was also very helpful and quick to respond. “I wrote a pretty scathing review last week of the Aplus Federal Credit Union that I bank with. Since then, and I don't think as a result of, they really stepped up to the plate and went out of their way to make everything right. The staff, including the vice president of the bank made sure that they came up with a viable alternative and solution to my problem of being able to get my money where it needed to be. This was definitely excellent customer service in action. I have never seen better. I am filled with gratitude that they were finally able to help me.”
“COVID UPDATE: this location has been very easy to work with during this trying time. I was able to make an appointment with my financial planner, and excellent COVID precautions were in place. You are also able to make appointments with other bankers for issues that cannot be handled online or over the phone. You will feel very safe in the office.I have been a TWCU member for more than 20 years. I've had good service both in AZ and TX. I have a variety of accounts with them from savings, line of credit, to IRA. I do all of my money transactions with this credit union. The individuals who work at this branch are wonderful. They are always so friendly and willing to go the extra mile to assist me. They never push services on me. They genuinely seem to be happy to be at work, which is nice to see in today's world. I recommend TWCU and I highly recommend visiting this branch should you need to interact with someone in person.”
