“The airport is also served by two of the three global alliances, Star Alliance and Oneworld. MFE lost its only international flight in September 2007 – a daily Continental Express flight to Mexico City. Mexican air carrier Aeromar operated nonstop service from the airport to the capital of Mexico. After less than one year, it was announced that MFE would lose its only non-stop flight to Los Angeles (LAX), operated by Delta Connection partner ExpressJet Airlines, at the end of 2007; however, Allegiant Air currently flies a seasonal nonstop McAllen to LAX with several flights a week. In December 2007, it was announced that Delta Connection would pull out of McAllen on January 6, 2008, ending its two flights a day from MFE to Atlanta, operated by Delta Connection partner Atlantic Southeast Airlines. In March 2009, Delta, through its wholly owned subsidiary Northwest Airlines, began flying MFE to Memphis on Northwest Airlink partner Pinnacle Airlines. Northwest Airlines had previously flown MFE to its Memphis hub starting in 2004. Following the completion of the merger of Northwest into Delta in 2010, the Memphis hub was eventually shut down although Delta continues to serve MEM.”

“Have rented several cars here and had good experiences, even though the cars are a bit scratched or dented. Have never had a problem with the staff claiming I was the one who scratched the car, so that's awesome. Depending on who's working the counter, you might have someone very insistent on upgrading you, or someone that just accepts that you don't want an upgrade and is happy to give you what you want without trying to over insure you. Overall, great car rental agency.”

“I've rented vehicles from here many times and have never had any issues and have never been overcharged nor had any extra fees added. Everything is real transparent, the employees are super friendly and helpful. Will definitley continue to rent vehicles from here. Last trip I took they even gave me a free premium upgrade to a Chrystler 300 because the car I reserved wasn't ready yet. I wish I was able to give more stars.”

“After seeing so many bad reviews I did not want to come here but I needed a vehicle rental fast and at a good price. It is a bit more inexpensive than enterprise. The rental was fast and easy but the car had stains on the upholstery and it had a funky smell like when u leave wet clothes. Smell was even funkier at midday or so (hottest times of day). I had to extend my rental and was able to do by phone fast. I turned it in early and loved the lady who helped me out. She was so nice and welcoming. I would deff rent here again if need be.”
