“A very efficient sort of store, less walking needed to get what you need. Prices are excellent, and I have always found the people to be very nice that work there. I have to watch certain food additives in my diet, and Aldi tends to have healthier choices (less chemicals added). I guess being a German company, they were naturally going to be efficient and they are. I find that their price on a lot of things I buy tend to be a buck or more cheaper than other stores. (Guacamole and tortilla chips, potato salad, fresh mushrooms, English Muffins, Bagels, bacon and sausage, and those stuffed salmon fillets all tend to be at least a dollar cheaper than other stores). they don't have as many choices for each type of food, but if you are buying basic items they tend to offer a very good option. Their milk and egg storage is a little difficult to contend with - not stocked right at the door so much, but you have to reach in and perhaps lift something to get at it, but not a big deal.
It took me a few trips there to figure out what I liked and where to find it. Now it saves a lot of time and needless walking. And I end up saving a decent amount with each visit. I don't much care for their cart system, since it does not cycle through the entire stack of carts. (should be FIFO, not LIFO for you computer geeks out there). So the ones that get used a lot have the tread worn off the tires, (but they still roll OK).
I carry an insulated bag in my trunk, so that holds the cold stuff as i load the food into my car.
They tend to operate with only 1 cashier, but that person is very fast. If they get backed up, they open another lane. No complaints, and they always greet you nicely. I think the parking lot arrangement could be a bit more efficient, but it is not too bad. They offer curbside pickup, but I have not tried it.
A great option for a normal trip to the grocery, since you save time and money on excellent quality items. If you want to buy in bulk or want to choose from 30 types of peanut butter, then perhaps one of the bigger stores is a better fit.”
“Much better options and better prices. Not big as HEB but very closer to the neighborhood. You can call it your local supermarket. Ample parking and every essential item available.”

“Since I've moved into this area, I decided to transfer my prescriptions. Everyone from the Technicians to Pharmacists Ms. Hattie Davis were very professional and courteous. I came in last week to pick up prescriptions I had called in and to also fill new prescriptions. The Technician nor the Pharmacist could not read the prescriptions. I told them to look at what the doctor had written before. They filled my prescriptions and I left. When I got home I realized the one for my lips was a cream but should have been an ointment. (I have dry lips). I called as soon I got home and took my prescriptions out of the bag and read cream. The Technician asked Ms. Davis if I could return it because it was the wrong one. I was told as long as it was not opened I could and the doctor corrected the prescription. I came in the next day and Ms David was not there. The Technician told Pharmacist Youan that the doctor had called in the correct prescription and I brought back the wrong one. Ms Youan immediately started yelling at me as if I were a toddler playing in the store, telling me they don't take prescriptions back especially if they are opened. (If she would concentrate on looking at the box, she could see neither end had been opened nor the tube penetrated). I didn't say a word. Then she said it could not be returned unless I had the receipt. I told her it was in the bag. She continued yelling and asked where is the receipt. I told her a little louder to open the bag. She is definitely NOT from Texas because we know how to speak to adults and children. She needs to go to anger management class and start all over. I'll give her an F- for professionalism and an A+ to the rest of the pharmacy staff. I have observed all of them with people on several occasions and they have been great!”
“Polite, professional service. This store is well stocked with all and sundry African merchandise, from stock fish to Suya meat seasoning. From pounded yam flour to fresh yam tubers. Nice African chicken to African Goat meat.”

“Regardless of a inconvenient past experience, I can also give acknowledgment where it's due. I am happy to share my experience. As I was in Yessenia's line to check out, I witnessed excellent customer service skills. The customer she was checking out 2 people ahead of me seemed upset with her because her card was declining. Yessenia stayed calm and composed, as the customer tried the card multiple times. After a while The customer behind offered to pay for that customer's purchase. The customer continued to be short and rude to the cashier and customer trying to pay for her. I was amazed at the calmness Yessenia maintained throughout. When it was my turn she checked me out with smile as if nothing happened and was very kind. I Loved that! Great job to you Yessenia!”
