“Went to look for a pool ladder and the service was great! The associate looked in the back and helped me search the store for a pool ladder. Unfortunately they didn't have any in the store. The guy told me to Google it and find other pool places in town.”

“Ray and Patti were amazing! I'm a new roller skater, and they were still knowledgeable despite it not being their primary specialization. They confirmed that my current skates are a half size too large, then suggested an orthotic insert to help manage the issue and hopefully prolong the use out of the skates. They also took the time to let me try on properly fitting skates and test out the inserts for any discomfort/adjustments before leaving. I really appreciated their time and attention, despite it being a busy afternoon in their shop. Thanks again and I hope to be back when it's time to upgrade!”
“This is an awkward situation, I'll admit...
This staff was great to me. No questions asked..
However, I just spent almost $2,700 getting everything I needed from this store and things were going great until I came to exchange a bag.
Winston, the General Manager (great guy), verbally told me how much the new bag cost..($600)
And he mentioned that the bag I was exchanging would bring the cost down to $300 out of pocket, after the exchange..
Again, everything was fine at that point.. I didn't bat an eye.
Paid the $300 difference.. mentioned that if I hadn't already written them a 5 start review, I would be as soon as I got to where I was headed.. and left the store..
While at a red light, I noticed the tag on the $600 golf bag I just purchased said it was only $296.99
Obviously confused and a lil disappointed, I called Winston back on the phone to see what can be done..
Winston apologized and explained it away as an oversight. But said that there's nothing he can do about it. He said it hasn't been on sale for years and he didn't realize it was improperly priced..
In that moment I told him I didn't think that was good enough and wasn't comfortable with where he was willing to leave this situation..
He again apologized and we ended the call..
Now, here's a lil bit about my background..
I currently own and operate a barbershop.
I'm a former GM and DM for AT&T.
Former GM for Sleep Number.
Formerly in leadership for several other companies in retail/customer service/restaurant industries, respectively..
I mention my background to make a point...
I know and understand that things happen and being a GM is a lot of work..
But you don't earn your money as a GM when things are going smoothly..
You earn your money when you problem solve your way thru difficult situations..
In my experience, this isn't even a difficult situation.. but, in fairness I've never been the GM of PXG.
But I do know that in every role as a GM.. or even when I was a lead at Sprint cellular I had the ability to correct pricing issues like this.
I'm not saying Winston should have given me the $300 I overpaid back, but he offered ZERO compromise or concessions..
What's wild is he even expected that I was gonna write a review.
So he KNEW this was coming.
Again, I just spent almost $2,700 ($2,400 the 1st time & $300 just today.. )
I'd bet my life that if I went to ANY other retail store and bought whatever they put in front of me I'd be offered a few more concessions than a simple 'my bad'

“I am a notorious penny pincher, but I never second guess the expense for proper running shoes. Fleet Feet-Woodway is my store but any store that exclusively sells running shoes is best (make sure you understand the exchange/return policy which should give you a chance to tryout your new shoes.) Shoes get new models all the time, so a shoe that is perfect today may be a dud for you next year. Getting fitted by a knowledgeable salesperson is essential. (Just posted this on fb & thought I should share here too!)”

They not only have whatever exercise equipment you want but multiple items in varying condition. I found a decent piece at a fair price and they cleaned it up better than expected.”

“Just discovered this hidden gem a month ago. It's nestled in the corner of a busy shopping center. Parking can be an issue as the restaurant next door is always busy; however, that doesn't deter me from going. I've been here three times and each time the staff is always friendly and accommodating. They have a great selection of shoes and some clothes as well. This certainly will be my go to for sneakers when I'm not shopping online for them.”

“These guys are God-sends! I was traveling and in Houston literally for an overnight business trip. I needed a shirt and tie and found them close to my hotel.Terry and the other gentlemen there could not have been more helpful. They were professional and personable and obviously knew their stuff about haberdashery. They did not have a shirt my neck size but with a quick fix were able to make it work with a half neck size smaller. Genius!If I lived in the area, these guys would have my business for clothes and tailored suits. If you need a top notch store with great service and want to help an independent shop, I cannot recommend them enough! Give them a shot. You will not be disappointed.”

“Had a great experience in this store and will definitely continue to come back again. My 10 year old son was excited the store had the Adidas Ghosted cleat in stock to try on. These tend to be difficult at first to put on for youth age but the owner spent sometime with my son to show him the proper way to put these lace less cleats on. Really appreciate the customer service! Wouldn't get this kind of help shopping online or at a major retailer.”
“I really love coming to this store. Today I went in to purchase the Adizero Evo SL shoe. The store was clean, well stocked, organized and modern as it has always been on past visits. They have a great selection of Soccer kits from around the world. I was immediately greeted upon arrival and helped to find my shoes that fit in a prompt manner. Ezekiel and Nya were two that I remembered by name but I was also helped by two other gentleman and they were all equally helpful and courteous.
