“We celebrated my mom's 90th birthday this past Thanksgiving weekend at the hotel. They were so accommodating and helpful. The party room was perfect and it was so nice to have the breakfast area to congregate and relax. And lots of pictures by the Christmas tree. Highly recommend.Rooms were big, beds were comfy. Great location. Free parking.Rooms: Big spacious rooms with a kitchenette.Nearby activities: Parks Legado is right there. Plenty to do. Close to the airport. Close to Midland. Close to Odessa. Easy access to 191. Perfect.Walkability: It's located behind Parks Legado. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. Great location.”

“Four stars only because how expensive the rooms are. The place is nice, but not $300 per night nice. It's much nicer than any other option in Odessa, but it's still hard to justify the price, especially in the off-season for the oil fields.”

“Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, the breakfast and breakfast attendant were so amazing! The room was always spotless when I returned, the only thing that could have been better was the weird smell on the 2nd floor hallways and one of the elevators was down. Other than that I recommend this ”

“From experience here, I can say that I had a comfortable stay .. for the most part it quiet and the service is good . Individual experiences vary. I would recommend staying here if you're coming in from a long drive and need good place to rest and or the highway is ideal for your travel and you need to be near it. Happy staying!!”

“I’ve been staying here for awhile because of my job. Pros:: the family that owns and runs the property are great down to earth people. Friendly, helpful, keeps up on cleaning in the rooms and outside. Yes it’s an older motel but they try their hardest to keep it up and taking care of the maintenance. Price isn’t bad for the area and it’s easy to find. The only few things I would like to be different is the bedding needs to be updated, an actual size refrigerator with a freezer in the top and some kind of awning in the parking lot for customers to park under to protect their vehicles from hail and blazing hot sunshine. Otherwise I’m good with the place and the nice family that owns it, would recommend it to anyone.”

“Pros: kitchen, full size fridge/freezer, bathtub, work space in rooms, alarm clock, free washers & dryers, cupboard where you can buy single serving laundry detergent, travel toothbrushes/toothpaste, ice cream, Hungry Man meals, and get complementary coffeeCons: tv didn't work, hair from previous occupant on pillowTLDR; good value for the money, I appreciate the kitchen and being able to soak in a tub, so I'd definitely stay here if I'm ever in Odessa again.Housekeeping seems to visit once per week, on Sunday, and they didn't bother to visit my room at all despite me not leaving out the 'catch me some other time' magnet. Most everything was clean, except for the pillows which had hair from the previous occupant, so they probably didn't wash the bedsheets either; kind of annoying that I had to do my own laundry as soon as I got in, but at least you CAN do that here as they have free washers and dryers available. The bathroom has a tub, so you can soak in a nice hot bath. What is it with other hotels getting rid of tubs???The kitchen is well outfitted with the following: 2 butter knives, 2 forks, 2 spoons, 1 spatula, 1 serving spoon, 1 large sharp knife, 1 small pot with lid, 1 large pot with lid, 1 colander, 1 cutting board, 1 500mL glass measuring cup, 2 mugs, 2 small glasses, 1 large glass, 2 bowls, 2 small plates, and 2 large plates. Should be enough to let you cook almost anything you like. They even give you a small bottle of dish soap and a scrub brush, plus a tea pitcher with lid in the fridge. Lastly, they have 2 trash cans, and each one has a spare liner in it, in case you generate a lot of trash.Rooms: There's an L-desk built-in under the TV with an outlet right there, so it's convenient for doing computer work. I really like that they have an actual tub in the bathroom so you can take a nice Epsom salt soak after a long day in the field.Walkability: There is none. You'll have to drive if you want to go anywhere that isn't another hotel.Food & drinks: They don't have breakfast, but they do have a cupboard where you can buy all kinds of munchies. Hungry Man meals, ice cream, Danishes, trail mix, pretzels, cold drinks, and free fresh brewed coffee.”

“I stay at this location multiple times a month. I’m finally tired of them not recognizing my diamond elite status, never honoring my stay preferences, and always saying you have to eat the breakfast buffet. The breakfast coupon I get specifically says cooked to order. People stay at a Holiday Inn versus an express because it is supposed to be a little nicer with better food options. This place might as well be an express making you eat the buffet on a paper plate. Also hopefully they fixed the parking charge. This is the first time in a long time that I wasn’t charged parking. This place has gone down hill in the last 6-8 months.”

“I was more then pleasantly surprise to see how big the rooms were and how clean they were. The staff is top of the line helpful and friendly. I do not usually write reviews but this hotel deserves the praise. I will be coming back here.Food & drinks: The free breakfast provided choices to satisfy just about anybody's craving.”

“The floor had crumbs on it from those who had stayed previously. Also rubber band of some type was on the floor. The shower door wouldn't close tightly and leaked water. But the bed was clean and the bathroom also.”

“As a Hilton Honors member for almost ten years, I called the front desk and requested a late check out and was denied. Not a good look for a Hilton affiliated hotel. But what else can I expect from a hotel in Odessa TX?”

“Would stay again. Really beautiful atrium with incredible stained glass chandeliers. My Mom enjoyed reading in the stately green armchairs. My daughter was enthralled with the fish tanks. Enjoyed the glow of the outdoor fireplace. Spa is open Tuesday- Sunday.”

“Upon arrival, the lobby was clean. Staff was very friendly and hospitality was great. We walked into a clean, very spacious room. There was lots of room. There is a couch and chair to just hang out. Only thing that was lacking was the breakfast. Not much to choose from. We had to leave the hotel and get breakfast on the way home.”

“Staff was friendly- they seemed hurting for help.I was not given the room I purchased. The room I did get had cigarette burns on the cot, had not been vacuumed, and had not been wiped down at all.Additionally, we found a bottle of pills and a wadded up dollar on the floor. The bathroom was rusted and vent falling out of the ceiling. We canceled the rest of our stay. Staff was able to refund the rest of the scheduled days no problem. She didn't even seem surprised that I wanted to cancel. I imagine this happens often enough that she's just used to it.Elevator and laundry facilities are out of order.I feel like I got played. I feel bad for the staff. Management needs to get it together.Rooms: Small. Not given the room I paid for.Safety: Sanitary nightmare. Found a pill bottle on the floor and food on the floor in the stairwell. Vent falling out of the ceiling.”

“The staff is great!! The manager is respectful and understanding. The housekeeping lady is the most friendliest I've ever met. I wish we would of come here first. I recommend Baymont Inn formally known as America's Best Value. The location isn't really great but it's ok for travelers.”
