“Very cheap prices on gas and cigarettes. Only advice I could give is do not close during the peak times for break. Little aggravating. Should rotate employees when it's ones break time. But just something to suggest. My daily stopping place”

“The only reason its not a 5 star is simply because of thr location. It makes it hard to get in and out of during busy hours. The staff always friendly and nice helpful. Gas never have a problem seems clean buring. Always smells clean inside looks clean as well”

“Overall great place to stop while coming in or out of town. Gas prices may be a little higher, but don't want to double back through town. Women's restroom is always stocked and clean when I visit.”
“The manager has a great sense of humor, I used his dumpster after refilling his ice box and he suggested I give him $100 of ice for free. We had a good laugh, and i made a purchase, for change he gave me a 64 silver quarter. A very memorable visit.”
“I'm thankful for the Picket store. They are the only store out here that keeps really good hours and 9.999 times out of 10, they're gonna have what you need. If only they would possibly get a small grill going to make breakfast sandwiches and burgers I think they could put the colony store out of business.”

“Stopped at Gateway Travel in Palestine, Texas. Overall, the store was clean and well maintained, and the bathrooms were clean, which I really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the experience was brought down by the cashier. They came across as lazy and unhelpful, and there didn’t seem to be much interest in assisting customers or providing good service.
It’s a shame because otherwise the stop was perfectly fine. Clean facilities and a nice, well-kept store, but the customer service definitely needs some improvement.”

“I don't stop here often, but the few times that I have visited this location, it's been adequate. Sometimes there are lines or slower employees, but generally get in and out relatively quickly. Often times they're gas is a little cheaper than other locations in town, but have to keep your eye on the prices”

“Nice clean place. Not sure when Pilot took them over but nice people ,clean lot clean restrooms. For the drivers parking overnight. Make sure to have locks on the trailer doors. On 07/18/23 while doing my walk around I found that the left door someone had tried to open it. The handle was out of its cradle and pulled out. It was not like that last night when I did my walk around.”

“Three words: Sausage. Breakfast. Pizza.
I did not care the sauce on the pepperoni pizza, but that's just personal opinion. The dough and all ingredients were top-notch and tasty. They don't skimp on the cheese! The guys in the kitchen were friendly and funny. And really, that breakfast pizza is amazing!”
“My vehicle broke down in the parking lot and I had to leave it overnight . when I returned the manager was so helpful and helped me fix it so I didn't have to have it towed to repair shop. He got underneath my car and fixed it. I know if he will go out of his way to do this then I'm sure he is an excellent manager of the store.”

“Very clean restrooms and store. Got a cheeseburger fresh off the grill, fries and a drink. Cheeseburger was stacked with fixing and fries perfectly cooked and Hot. I was shocked at how good it was, and the price was excellent. Considering my meal at a brew pub in Tyler, this was excellent. Never know do you?”

Kami was absolutely terrific. I came in a couple weeks ago to get gas. The machine was heaving technical problems. I told her what was going on, she told me that the costumer at the pump behind me was about to leave and that I could back up into that space, and that she would check the machine to make sure my card information wasn't still open on the machine. She was super pleasant and professional.
