“Im pretty handy with basic car repairs. I bought a high mileage Acura TLX in ‘22. Diligent maintenance has allowed me to add 80K more bringing the car to 175k currently.
I needed a state inspection and also asked for a suspension inspection since those are still factory parts.
Their thorough assessment of the vehicle by Johnny (or James) impressed me!! They affirmed the worn components and found just the inner tie rod required immediate replacement. The rest were still tight and allowed for a accurate re-alignment after the tie rod was replaced.
Now, they could have easily said shocks, wheel bearings, ball joints and bushings etc., needed replacing and costing me a lot of $$, but they didn't. The car doesn't need them, at least right now. Maybe in another 25k miles at 200k.
The car drives and handles like new again!

They weren’t able to replicate the issue with our truck, so no repairs were done, but they gave us great advice and helped us navigate what was going on. I especially appreciated that they chose not to recommend repairs when they weren’t 100% sure they would actually solve the problem. “Once again Sav-Mor Automotive gave me the greatest service. I came in at 9am. I had bells and whistles flashing on my dashboard (older model Toyota if anyone has an old model!) and their expert repairman(en) diagnosed and gave me the head's up on THE problem and additional repairs (in photo proof) that were NECESSARY. I will always be a customer at this auto repair shop. I hope I won't have to, but they are my first choice.”
“My car was making a weird noise. They had difficulty replicating it, but they took a look inside taking things apart and found the issue anyways. I love how they’re relatively fast, but don’t try to go as fast as those “quick repair” places (a nice balance of timely and proper care. It doesn’t sit in the lot without being worked on, but they also don’t rush through the work). Their communication is also really good, they make it easier when multiple people share a car (one person can bring it in and another can get updates; perfect for families).
I don’t like how they have a tendency to keep the car running while checking out, I’d much rather just take it out from being parked so less gas could be wasted. It’s a relatively minor complaint though.”
