“It’s easier to get gas at this location than other Costcos ( specifically Bunker Hill Costco). Thanks for cleaning the pump handles. Using my Costco credit card for points. For the fast food, i appreciated the lady working yesterday morning for cutting my kid’s pizza into smaller slices. She did it intuitively since they were panting at the counter and she could tell they were little Costco: can we get a no-added sugar drink option? Maybe swap the lemonade for an apple juice without the corn syrup? And we are ready for the DEEBEES popsicles to come back. It’s 78 Deg outside right now”

“The original store opened in 1947. The new store isn't even a shadow of that little corner store. Having said that, it's nice, clean and everyone is friendly. Well done.”

“Routine checks and balances! It would be very helpful if a little time was taken to check the fuel pumps receipt rolls. This would definitely add to the experience and not take away, especially when it's a bit cold outside or you are in a rush. Receipts are important and should not be ignored. I guess it's the walk in, because pump 8 is out of receipt paper. Until the next visit, Bye-Bye!”

“I did the $10 touchless car wash. I was pretty impressed, I had some bird p*** dried to my hood that I didn't think this wash would remove and it took it off without any issues. Does a good job leaves car very shinny. You can still get better results with a hand wash, but if you just have some light dust this wash is excellent.”

“The five stars are for Miss Deanna!Whenever I see her she is always diligently tending to store operations and outside work and the appearance of this store! Her team however, I can not attest the same for. This particular time I came in, the behind the counter staff were having inappropriate back and forth banter about the checking out of customers and what time they are supposed to clock out and leave in regards to helping out and tidying up. One of the team members was even on the phone while checking out. Speaker phone. If my review was done on Deanna’s team alone it’d be a one star. The five is definitely for Miss Deanna. Hard worker she is! ✨”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
