“On my visit last weekend, for the very first time, I experienced a cashier (first time I encountered him) telling me “why don’t you help your husband put the items in the conveyor so it will be faster” while he was not even close to being done ringing all the ones that were already there. Most of the cashier here are respectful except for that one.”

“I am a big HEB fan especially with the produce. I haven't been to Aldi in a few years. I decided to purchase as many items on my grocery list from Aldi as I could. I walked in and started and realized Aldi had really stepped up their game since last I went. They have way more selection now and comparable products. The produce select, although small, had very good product. I was able to purchase about 75% of my list. Great thing was, it would normally cost a little over a $100 but my total was $68. I am really impressed honestly and I will definitely shop there going forward.”
“Great Service - used curbside for the first time today - I always chose to shop in store before. I realize prices were a little higher through curbside, but it was well-worth it for how busy our family was today. Wowed by their customer service, my order was ready slightly early (10 minutes) which worked out perfectly, and the gentleman who brought it out was polite, respectful, and considerate. Highly recommend using this HEB for curbside orders.”
“I am extremelyy pleased with this location instead of the other Walmart on FM 518 on the east side of 288 (which is so crowded and takes a long time to drive into or find anything). This location in Shadow Creek is slightly smaller but suits me perfectly as it's easier to find items. Customer Service is excellent with the cashiers and employees in the aisles responding to instantly, efficiently, and cheerfully. When I stopped and asked one of the employees where copier paper was, she personally took me all the way to the aisle - which is amazing because it's rare these days and therefore greatly appreciated! This is my go-to store now!”
“We visited the store for the first time because of the specials. Unfortunately we didn't qualify for the because we didn't have the app to access the coupons. Very disappointed and ultimately my fault. Otherwise it's a very nice clean store. Maybe we'll try again in the future.”

“We really like this HEB. The deli counter is great, and the tortillas are awesome. They're always really well-stocked, and the employees here are very nice. We use the curbside option a lot, and the reason I can't give 5 stars is that they forget to include stuff often! 2/3 times, they miss something and we end up having to email HEB to have them refund us. Then, we end up needing to go in person to pick it up ourselves anyway. Other than that, we love this HEB!”
“Updated review - this location has done a lot to improve. It's still a busy location but the recent remodel actually has wider isles, less congestion, and is a lot less anxiety generating to go shopping at. They don't have the widest selection but the quality of what they carry is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable. Please keep up the great everything and thank you for focusing on customer needs.”

I don't even go to McDonald's anymore, I just swing by here on the way to work and during the day.My only gripe is the kitchen. The food isn't cooked to order, it's always premade and I'm not a fan of that. But that's ok, I gotta 'nuther gas station for that ;)”
“Wonderful people run this place. We have lived in the neighborhood for years and they are kind and welcoming! My son even scraped his knee and a worker was quick to come and help him out a band aid on. I cannot say enough kind words about the workers here. So grateful to have them as a part of our community!”

“I visited this Dollar General two days in a row and always visit here. Today, I met the manager, Regina, and a new employee Charmayne. Charmayne showed me to the area where I could get a basket while she organized sale items. When I was ready to purchase my items, she immediately stopped what she was doing and assured me of the pricing of all items I had in question. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and honest about what she knew and did not know. This is the type of authenticity that builds trust.
I complemented Regina on how well organized and clean the store always is everytime that I patron this business. Although this is not her scheduled day to work, she is here organizing, adding prices so that customers are aware of their clearance sale, and training and acknowledging the great work of her new employee Charmayne. This is servant leadership in progress. She is working alongside her teammates and demonstrating that she is willing to do what she asks them to do, while depmonstrating superb customer service on a day she isn't supposed to be there. She personally stopped her task to point out to me the items that were on sale so that I would have a chance to benefit from the sale! I ended up purchasing sale items in addition to the items I was there to purchase. This is excellent customer service and it is my hope that the leaders of Dollar General recognize the excellence in their store manager here at the Bailey location. This is the top of leadership that renders repeat customers, such as myself. Well done Regina and Charmayne. I look forward to encountering them both during my future shopping experiences here.”

“My go to grocery store.I'm a big fan and enthusiast of Indian cooking specifically Vegetarian recipes that have been made to be Vegan. This store has all my needs from spices, lentils, dried beans of all kinds, basmati rice, frozen snacks, ready to eat snacks, produce and much more! So much packed in a small place and a gem in our community here in Pearland. It's a beauty seeing smaller grocery stores operating in our area rather than huge corporate run stores.Even if you're not into Indian cooking, maybe try some of their ready to eat snacks or microwavable goods? They also have yummy fast food hot and ready.”

“With inflation, there isn't one grocery store I shop at. I typically shop the sales at Kroger, H-E-B, Randall's and grab essentials at Aldi and Walmart. (Saving money on groceries is a full time job!) The Shadow Creek Kroger is closer to us but oftentimes they are out of stock of the items we need so I started coming to this Kroger instead. 9/10 this place has what we need. I always use the app with the digital coupons. I've even gotten my husband hooked on clipping e-coupons and saving $$. Love getting deals.I rarely have any encounters with employees. I typically use self checkout and stick to my few sale items and are in and out in a short time.”
“As a Pearland REALTOR® and local expert, I love shouting out great customer service and the Dollar General on North Main (Hwy 35) did not disappoint! I was warmly greeted by two young men upon entering and despite it being close to closing time, I was warmly greeted. One of them kindly let me know they’d be closing soon and asked if I needed any assistance. At checkout, the other was patiently waiting and chatted with me about his academic aspirations when I mentioned shopping for my college student. Exceptional service, friendly, helpful, and professional. The store was neat and organized. I could actually walk safely through the aisles which at times at this location was challenging. I look forward to stopping back in soon!”
