“We went to submit passport and the postal staff were very helpful in taking/validating the passport papers and submitting it in a very short time. We did not had a appointment and did a walk in but still were in and out within 30 min. The staff Gina and Mohammed were very helpful and listened to our request of accommodating us even without an appointment. Kudos to the staff for doing their job above and beyond!”

“My go to for shipping from the hours of 8amTo Noon. Understand that after 12pm they are closed daily. Never a line and great customer service from the nice lady who works there. They are fully stocked up on all the shipping materials that you need. I’ve never encountered a line when having to ship.”

“Feb 2023 - I arrived at the post office, with package in tow. I was sending them internationally to my aunt and they were very special packages. My mom, her sister recently passed and I had purchased a beautiful small urn for her to have. I sent it off, with ease. Well about a week later it was returned to me stating the country prohibted cremated remains- I was devestated. So, the following Saturday I went back up to the post office and spoke with the manager Ms. Patricia. Not only was it hectic due to short staffing and rude customers (that I observed while waiting)- but she kept her composure. I asked her simply if there was any chance I could get a refund (I was prepared to take the Loss but it didnt hurt to ask, right?!). She stated unfortunately they dont typically do refunds of this nature since its up to the sender to do their due dilgence (which I did not.) I said, no worries and turned around to walk out of the door, she yelled "wait." She looked at me with pure empathy and told me she couldnt imagine going through this at all- so she would make an exception. What made it worse on my side, is that I threw away my receipt, but she went the extra mile to retrieve it since I had all the pertainant info that was needed to pull the receipt. I came back the following weekend, and my refund was issue. This was just that small restore of humanity. She didnt have to do this, but she wanted to and it made my whole day. So, thank you Ms. Patricia for being that restore. Keep up the good work and I will continue to pray for you!”

“This is by far my favorite USPS location in Austin! It's not even in my neighborhood, but I'll drive there anyway because of the great service. There's not typically a long line, but even if there is, it moves really quickly. All of the employees I've worked with have been exceptionally polite and efficient. They always apologize for the wait, even if there was only 1 person in front of me.Highly recommend this location!!!”

“I made a mistake. I forgot to put the shipping label on the package & when I noticed it, I went back to usps near Lake Creek. I spoke to Annis & a sorter and they encouraged me to go here.Got to this location Mr. Gus was very helpful. He listened to my ERROR. Tried to call Ms. Sharon to try and help, she was gone for the day and then he asked Ms. Linda for advice. This woman was so rude. She said to me, “I am not sure why they sent you here we can’t do nothing for you. I don’t know why other post offices tell people to come here.” She pretty much said my package would end up in Atlanta dead pile and the likelihood of me getting it is slim. I have a video of me packaging the item and pics.Guys, I take ownership of my mistake, it costs nothing to be kind and to be word attacking a customer is not cool. Ms. Linda triggered me to where I was so angry in near tears until I saw Ms. Nicole in passport’s - she echoed Mr. Gus’ advice to call Ms. Sharon.10.5.23 update:Changed to 5 stars because Ms. Sharon found my package. Mr Gus remembered me, and Ms. Linda was a bit nicer today; not sure if it was because someone of authority was in the area, but also all coworkers said - it was an off an offmoment for her and she’s normally nice.3 stars for Mr Gus, Ms. Nicole and the inventory of boxes available. Please, people in customer service business-be nice. Be patient.I’m calling Ms Sharon in the am”

“You wanna talk about calm and bright this season? Here's where it's at! Barely a line. The woman working today (with lovely patterned earrings in the shape of Africa) was so personable and chill. Great USPS experience!”

“I guess when it comes to public institutions people only put in reviews when they have a bad experience. We just moved to Manor and my experience with USPS has been so far good. Got the mailbox set up instantly. Got keys on the first visit and started getting packages the next day. The lady on the counter was polite, friendly and quick despite being the only person at the counter and having continuous inflow of customers. However it is inconvenient that they are closed on SAT and SUN. Hopefully that will change and they will get more staff given the rate at which Manor is growing”

“Go early for the walk-in passport service. We went at opening on a rainy day to minimize the amount of people there. It went really smoothly and they know exactly what they were doing. I could imagine people having a bad experience going during a busy time when it's a madhouse. Be smart and it will be a pleasant experience.”

“I'm a mail carrier based out of this very station. I appreciate and applaud the open honesty expressed by the reviewers thus far, but the lobby side of the front counter is only half of the story.I suspect that a majority of the reviews here are posted immediately following what is perceived to be a negative experience. As such, these reviews are laden with extreme emotion that, while I do not doubt is heartfelt, does little to explain the issue objectively or offer any suggestion of how the USPS can improve the customer's experience. There's also another side to the story. For every anger-laced review I read, I'm compelled to ask: How would a bystander honestly rate the behavior of the reviewer while the described incident was taking place? Did you know that incidents of customers throwing objects at the front counter clerks is not only not unheard of, it's becoming alarmingly commonplace? All I can say, with all honesty at my disposal, is that I know of no career employee at this station that does not care deeply about customer service and full commitment to their job. That being said, they are just as human as anyone else.Let me ask some simple favors of everyone reading this before you begin typing out that next review. Think of your own carrier; the woman or man who delivers mail to your mailbox. How would you rate *their* dedication to their task? Could you do better if you were in their place? Could you take on the responsibilities of a front counter clerk for even a single day and maintain a smiling face and positive attitude through it all? These are purposely open-ended questions; there's no correct response. All I'm asking is that you please try to keep an open mind. Thank you for your attention.”
