“I have a second-hand Chrysler 200, and because it repeatedly went into limp mode, I had to get the transmission checked. I searched on ChatGPT for nearby repair shops and chose Plano Automatic Transmission because their reviews were excellent and they seemed very trustworthy.
After I dropped off my car and had just gotten home, I received a call from Liz. She told me that my car still had two recalls that hadn’t been addressed, and she also informed me that the motor oil was critically low and needed to be refilled immediately. That was likely the reason why my engine had been stalling so often. I feel very sorry and realize I was careless for not checking the oil level regularly.
This morning when I went to pick up my car, Liz carefully explained the recall items to me and even printed out the relevant recall information. She was worried that, as a foreigner unfamiliar with the rules, I might be misled elsewhere. The mechanic also helped me add the engine oil that I had previously purchased. All of this was done free of charge.
Honestly, this is truly a trustworthy shop. Everyone there is honest, helpful, and professional, and there were no unnecessary charges at all. If I ever have transmission problems again in the future, this will definitely be my first choice for repairs.”

“I’ve used Joe and Bruce since 1997. They are the most honest, reasonably priced mechanics In The ENTIRE DFW METROPLEX. They do all repairs not just transmissions. In almost 30 years I’ve never had an issue with their services or parts. They stand behind their work and never try to sell you something that you don’t need. If I could sum this shop up briefly, I’d say “honest, prompt and professional.” I don’t live in DFW anymore but when people from my hometown ask for a good mechanic, Eagle is on the top of a very short list.
