“I'm a newbie, but these were knowledgeable people, They had good advice on tools, projects, and wood choice as well a wide selection of woodworking specialty items. They had a good source of good quality wood and sheet goods, including American and Baltic Birch, as well as various hardwoods. the good stuff, unlike the construction grade ugly plywood at the big box stores. Same goes for hard wood boards; no knot filled, bowed, cupped, and twisted greenwood junk like the big box noodles in the dimensional lumber section there. You get what you pay for so the equipment is definitely on the high end quality and cost-wise (Festool for example). Worth a look”
“We called this location this afternoon to ask about some specific HVAC duct supplies and the person we spoke to (Conrad? I'm not sure of his name) was awesome. Very helpful and friendly, even knowing he didn't have what we needed. He checked inventory at their Plano store and we went there to make the purchase. It was one of the most helpful interactions I've ever had. The people in the Plano store were very helpful and friendly as well.”

Had a wonderful experience with John in the hardware section this morning I came in with a couple of drills and was looking for batteries and he looked at the tool combination and asked me a few questions and was able to find a deal going on that saved me over $100 and got me a better set than what I was trying to piece together on my own.
Karen customer service made the return process super simple she was very kind and respectful just a great team all the way around.”

Their staff is amazing always cheerful & kind.wanted to share with you guys when you go to their garden area always ask for JEEF he is a HIDDEN GEM of that store always friendly good service & hard worker. “Brandon at Lowe’s in Allen helped load up my cart with 6 boxes of carpet tiles as well as transfer the boxes into my car. He was proactive and very helpful with assisting me to the aisle where the carpet tiles were located. He waited for me to pay for the products so he could help me load up my car. I was in a rush because the contractor was waiting for me to purchase the carpet tiles so he could install them the same day. “I worked this store for three years. Store was awesome when Wallace was store manager. Then they hired this young asm oh he was a prick very arrogant and very selective if you catch my meaning. Then a new asm Brian I believe OHHHH BRIAN BRIAN BRIAN I KNOW WHAT YOU DID WHEN I LEFT THAT DAY. It’s okay since then the store went down hill. All I can say is I prayed about and Brian guess what you’ll be walked out pretty soon too. Everyone else is awesome MANAGEMENT JUST SEEKS RETALIATION A LOT.”

I would like to point out that Lenea exudes so much knowledge, very prompt, friendly, and hard working. Each time I come into the store, she’s very pleasant and helpful with finding things. I’m not sure if she’s a Manager, but having staff like herself helps me to understand why my experience, at Home Depot, is always a positive one.

“we just moved in to Prosper, TX from Illinois and had bought a Husky Tool chest online and had it delivered. However the chest had a problem wherein the upper chest was locked while the keys were still inside the chest!! Per one of our friend's suggestion we took it to the Plano location and oh boy! those guys were so helpful! There was this tall middle-aged guy who tried all possible means to get the chest opened (hardware, their repository of keys etc. etc. for almost half an hour). When nothing worked, he asked the cashier guy (Avik I think) to check if they have a similar one. they had one display one and they gladly exchanged it for the one we had!!! They could have easily drove us away and could have just returned the whole thing but we were so pleased with the amount of urgency and diligence they showed!!! 5 star guys...keep it up!”
“Typical Lowe's store, but today I wanted to shoutout Scott! He helped my husband and I pick out and load mulch, was friendly, and knew how many bags on estimate could fit in our car so we had a good idea what to expect. First class service! Stores need more guys like him! Thanks Scott!”

“This is my neighborhood Lowe's. I wanted to say that it's always been a great experience coming to this location but one employee that really went above and beyond was Norman. I was having a hard time getting air in my tire and Norman happened to walk by, noticed, and offered to help. He proceeded to help me get some air into all my tires and let me know that the pressure gage was broken and so would not know the amount of tire air pressure in each tire. He then offered and walked quite far to his car to get his tire gage and helped me measure and get air in my tires. He was a lifesaver as my hubby was out of town and my friend and I were totally confused. Thanks goodness for Norman who went out of his way to help! What an exceptional associate!”
