“I needed some new grips for a set of golf clubs, the staff was friendly and helpful. I picked them up same day and the gentleman who worked on the clubs did a great job on my son's clubs. I can't wait to go back and explore their golf section.”

“Anyone who is anyone should check their feet here, I didn’t know I had an issue with the way my feet and the way I walk and the shoes I have been using were wrong so one day I walked in and bought the shoes that are right for my feet and the way I walk and run, initially I got wrong width but then I walked in wearing the shoes again they were quick to exchange and help. Nice service and me and my wife are happy with the shoes and service we got. I will bring all my family and get their feet checked and get the shoes that give better comfort and feel. Thank you!”

“Amazing customer service! I had a bit of a complicated request and they absolutely went above and beyond! I placed an online order for two pairs of shoes, one of which for pickup at this location and the other for delivery to my home. The pair that was delivered turned out to be too big so when I went to pickup my second pair I asked if I could return both pairs as I ordered both in the same size. They let me try on both shoes in the smaller size to decide which one fit me best. As it turns out, each pair fits slightly different (since they’re different styles) so I got one in the original size and the other in half a size smaller! I still had to return the pair that was delivered to my home as I needed the half size smaller and they were able to return and put in the replacement order for the size I needed all at once! I figured that id have to return them then place another order online but they made the process so much smoother and now my replacements are arriving tomorrow (it look less than a week)!”

“Good repair service! Replacing a kid’s bike inner tube, and they went above and beyond by fixing the uninstallable training wheel due to short axis through using in house thinner bolts to tread on and get the bike inflated while training wheel supported in under 30mins. Chris the technician is very helpful in finding the right product and fixing the bike.”

“I rarely write reviews, but this place is really great. It feels like stores used to feel 20 years ago. Helpful, knowledgeable staff. No upsell. The employees really want you to get the best shoe and don't act like you're bothering them. I got a pair of shoes I'm really happy with, and learned a lot in the process. Will be the only place I buy running shoes going forward.”

“Replay is my go-to for all of my disc golf needs! Their service and knowledge is excellent, and both their new and "slightly used" selections are well categorized and sorted - if there's a disc I'm looking for and don't yet want to pay full price for it, I can easily find it here without looking through the entire used disc section. They also have a lot of inexpensive used discs for newbies to start their first bag affordably. They also carry a lot of the necessary accessories for one's bag, including suckerball retrievers and a big assortment of disc golf bags. They have a lot of things for other sports as well, but as an avid disc golfer, there is no place in the North Texas area better for disc golfers to get what they need than Replay Sports in McKinney!”

“This Academy has a GREAT selection of youth football helmets. Ridell 2025 and 2026 ND6 Speedflex, other Riddells, various Schutts, even Light and a couple of others. Was there late at night with my son shopping for/trying on football helmets. The staff there was particularly friendly. Chris made sure to stick around and let us ask questions and find the perfect fit helmet for my son. Unfortunately, they didn't have the size/color combo he needed, so I ordered from academy.com. Honestly, I would have just ordered from Amazon if it weren't for the level of service we received. PS: thankfully my 10 year old liked the Schutt F7 ($199) better than the Spedflex ND6 ($480). The Schutt is cheaper, lighter and has an Excellent Virginia Tech research rating. It ranks better than the new Speedflex.”

“I'm writing a review because I was at this store on 10/12/24 shopping with my little sisters. When this customer (the user below me by the name of Rubi) came in asking for an exchange ( I know this because she started to get loud and obnoxious about it ) The employee working there tried to explain to her but she wasn't listening. I work in the retail world as well, and I have never seen such a rude, obnoxious, loud, self righteous, and entitled person in my life. The way she was treating the Employee was simply not right, "while i wasn't the kindest" is simply an understatement. The way this person lied on their review is insanity. It can be amazing what you can accomplish when you simply listen to employees and or read the policies of the store. Me and my sister's had a bet about how people like this try their hardest to ruin other peoples days, and I went on reviews to see if she did anything and to our expectations we saw a review detailing the exact encounter. Whoever you are Mariah, thank you for helping me and my little sisters with finding the product we needed, and bless you for dealing with people like that.”

“I’m giving 4 stars entirely because of Mahira's (Guess thats the name) outstanding service. She was friendly, attractive, attentive, and checked in on me a couple of times to see if I needed help. I was looking for sizes 10 and 10.5 but couldn’t find them on display. When I asked another staff member (an older lady in the next aisle), she simply said, “What you see is what we’ve got.” Later, Mahira passed by and offered assistance. I asked her the same question, and to my surprise, she went to the back and brought out both sizes. Thanks to her, I found the perfect fit. I’ll happily return to this store — but only when Mahira is there. ?”

“We love Frozen Ropes. I’ve been taking my boys there for years to improve their baseball skills and learn how to work/practice and how that translates to success. I only wished to have a facility like Frozen Ropes growing up and love that my boys get to take advantage of this place. Ownership and Coaches there are outstanding as well - top notch baseball facility that we are lucky to have in McKinney.”

“I purchased a Stephen curry city edition jersey and after purchasing I found another one at a other store with a size that fit me better so I opted to return the jersey. I went to the store and was greeted with the friendly store manager Tanner. He was very nice and had great customer service. After going home later that day I noticed instead of refunding me they charged me again, so I went back the store the next day and Tanner was on top of it and got it figured out with a great attitude! If a store manager Is able to get a raise, Tanner deserves one! Will definitely be back in the future!”

“Found what I was looking for. I was looking for an Arsenal jersey and went to Adidas who are official sponsor. Found it very surprising that they didn’t have it. Searched couple of other places as well, no luck. Went to soccer90 and got it. What’s more, the collection there of soccer jerseys for numerous clubs was pretty good. I would say don’t waste your time going anywhere else for your soccer needs, just get here. They also had good discount on some jerseys from prior season.”
