“Calloway's is truly a gem! The nursery is beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of healthy, vibrant plants, all thoughtfully organized to make browsing easy and enjoyable. But what really made our visit exceptional was the incredible staff & Manager Clif and Jeff.
From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness. On a hot day, they even offered us water while we shopped, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their friendly, upbeat personalities--and great sense of humor--made the whole experience not just pleasant, but memorable.
You can tell they really care about both the plants and the people who come through. We'll definitely be back, not just for the plants, but for the atmosphere they help create!”

“Probably the best store for general home improvement. Not always the cleanest, but usually the best prices for non-surplus goods. Great return policy, staff has been very attentive the last few months. Wish they would stock appliances instead of delivering them. I would buy if I didn't have to wait and schedule a time. Update: I really like their return policy. It's much more project oriented than that of their major big box competitor in the DFW area. Staff is overall helpful during the last few months or so. I did talk to one employee in the electrical dept at 2220 n coit rd richardson tx about 10 am today 3/20/2026 who was helpful, but not what I would consider friendly. This is one of the cleaner HD stores I visit. I wish all of the stores had similar layout. Some things are difficult to find and I have to use my phone to locate.”
