“I have been going to this little piece of paradise for 30 years. There hard work to source and stock some of the hardest to find goodies is unbelievable. You look around and dig to the back of the shelves only to see something you needed for some project. I try to take an afternoon off just to look and dig for the hard to fins things I need. But don't misunderstand and think it's a mess. It's not. The items are lined up and organized so we'll like something your OCD friend would be proud off. They just gave do much from do many different field's of endeavor that it can't all be spread out. The prices are to cheep to talk about. I will close with this. Get there go there be there for the tool time of your life. It's like a trip to canton without having to walk around for miles. And you will Remer where you parked.”

“About three years ago, I had a door recalibrated. They did a terrific job. More recently, I needed to replace the bottom door sweep on our front door. Our front door is 3 1/2 feet wide and 2 1/4 inches thick. You can't buy these at Home Depot or Lowe's. Richardson door was nice enough to sell me the part that I need so I could install it myself. I called a couple of their competitors first, they would not sell any parts.”

“Probably the best store for general home improvement. Not always the cleanest, but usually the best prices for non-surplus goods. Great return policy, staff has been very attentive the last few months. Wish they would stock appliances instead of delivering them. I would buy if I didn't have to wait and schedule a time. Update: I really like their return policy. It's much more project oriented than that of their major big box competitor in the DFW area. Staff is overall helpful during the last few months or so. I did talk to one employee in the electrical dept at 2220 n coit rd richardson tx about 10 am today 3/20/2026 who was helpful, but not what I would consider friendly. This is one of the cleaner HD stores I visit. I wish all of the stores had similar layout. Some things are difficult to find and I have to use my phone to locate.”
