“I was just passing by the Hilton restaurant and ended up having a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the view was gorgeous, and Ms. Adriana definitely made me feel welcome. I would absolutely recommend this place.”

“For road trippers this hotel is a hidden gem. A little bit off the interstate but worth the 5 minutes! Spacious clean room, better quality breakfast than most chains, and some unique places like an outside porch, secluded sitting area, and a functioning gym.

EV drivers can charge for free while staying. Great to wake up at 100%…literally and metaphorically!”

“I stayed here on the second leg of a road trip with my cat and dog. The room was a little small but enough space for the night. Two nice grassy areas for dogs and trash cans for pet waste. I also liked their all day coffee and tea bar. I didn't use the gym but it looked super small, like the size of one of the rooms or smaller. I looked at the pool but it was also pretty small and decided not to get in since it was so hot out. It's not super extravagant but I found the room and location to be cozy, quiet and adequate. We ended up needing to stay an extra day and they were good about letting us keep the same room. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for those who have pets!”

“The rooms were pretty clean. Smelt like disinfectant spray with a nice scent. There is a pool you can access with your room card but it is only 4ft 6in. The breakfast is ok. Texas shapped waffles are good but mine came out missed shaped lol. Biscuits were a little too hard but other then that the stay was pretty nice. Many places nearby to try out and experience just Texas doesnt belive in sidewalks”

“Updated review from stay on 6/16/26

We arrived around 9pm and our upgraded suite was ready. We found a park g spot near the building. Staff checked me in and was friendly.

The extra large suite was a pleasant surprise. Traveling with our dogs the extra room helps. Very large with kitchenette and living room area is my favorite Hyatt Place layout!

Breakfast was good with plentiful hot and cold options. The biscuits and gravy and sausage hit the spot.

Short one-night stay at Hyatt Place

We arrived around 7pm after completing online check-in earlier in the day. The parking lot was already filling up, and by the time we returned from dinner it was nearly full.

Our first-floor room had the typical Hyatt Place layout and furniture. Everything looked tidy, and the bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately, the shower had visible mold/mildew along the edges and in the caulk — dark discoloration that’s clear in the attached photos and video. I had read similar complaints in prior reviews and was surprised to receive a room with this issue as a World of Hyatt Globalist. We decided to skip showering due to hygiene concerns.

Breakfast offered the usual mix of hot and cold items. The coffee was solid with plenty of creamers and sweeteners available. Hot options included an egg-and-cheese fold, turkey sausage patties, biscuits and gravy. The eggs and sausage were sitting in quite a bit of liquid/water, but overall the food tasted fine for what it was.

This was an okay Hyatt Place stay, but the ongoing issues noted in other reviews — lackadaisical staff attention, middling breakfast quality, and persistent mold/mildew in the showers — still appear valid. A solid option for a quick overnight if those don’t bother you, but I’d hoped for better given the brand.”
