“Spay Neuter Network did an amazing job with my pup! The staff was kind, caring, and made the whole process feel smooth and reassuring. My dog is a little over one week post op, and his recovery has gone incredibly well.

What really stood out to me too was the pricing. Vets in my area were charging anywhere from $500 to $1,500, which honestly felt wild. I so appreciate Spay Neuter Network for not only doing a great job, but also making it accessible at a reasonable price. I’m very thankful for the care they provided and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing neuter services for their pet.”

“The entire staff at Project Mend was very professional and went above and beyond the call of duty from beginning to end. I was on the waiting list for a year and kept calling Project Mend to see if a scooter was available. From Emily (case manager) calling me to tell me that a scooter was available, to Carlos (supervising mechanic) hooking me up with a lightweight scooter, and then to Michael (director) who delivered a working power cord to me at Walmart on his way home from work when mine malfunctioned, everyone was very courteous and helpful. I’m a big fan!”

“Over the past three years, our daughter has participated in First Tee’s year-round programs, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The program has opened many doors for our family to enjoy and appreciate the game of golf together.

The staff and coaches are incredible people, and everyone involved at every level of the organization is deeply committed to helping kids fall in love with the game while building confidence, character, and community. The families within the program have also been wonderfully supportive, helping guide us toward local opportunities to continue playing and growing in the sport.

We are truly grateful for the coaches, administrators, volunteers, and families who make First Tee such a special experience. It is an outstanding place to introduce children to one of the greatest games — and fellowships — in the world. Along the way, you build lifelong friendships and develop a lasting love for the game of golf.”

“Lorenzo W. was a great instructor. I really learned a lot from this course. It wasn’t very expensive, and it was easy to sign up and attend class on Zoom. This program allowed me to have a positive outcome, from a seemingly hopeless situation.”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about my local YMCA! From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by a welcoming and supportive community that truly cares about its members.

What has impressed me most is the swim lesson program and, especially, the incredible instructor. Their patience, encouragement, and expertise have made such a positive impact. They create a fun, safe, and confidence-building environment where swimmers of all skill levels can learn and improve. It's clear that they genuinely care about each student's success and take the time to ensure everyone feels comfortable in the water.

The progress I've seen has been amazing, and it's all thanks to their dedication and positive attitude. Every lesson is engaging, well-organized, and something to look forward to. The YMCA is fortunate to have such a talented and passionate instructor on its team.

If you're considering swim lessons for yourself or your family, I highly recommend the YMCA. The quality of instruction, supportive atmosphere, and commitment to helping people grow make it an outstanding place to learn and thrive.”

“Pastor Richard is really great. You really feel welcomed when you come here. I saw in a previous review someone said it was "ghetto" but if ghetto means welcoming people in all levels of their faith, then yes, ITH is ghetto, because you can come as you are and you will be welcomed with open arms. The music is great and uplifting and will bring you to tears if you surrender your thoughts and your heart. They have classes for children and youth. If you go through life with Judging eyes you will always find something negative, but if you surrender and look at life with faith and understanding you will appreciate all that life has to offer. At ITH they offer you a new perspective on life, what you allow into your atmosphere, sometimes forcing you to look at your very own approach on life, accountability. I've been coming here for 5 years and it feels like home. There are all ages, and people in different stages of life. Come for the music stay for the word. Be Blessed in your journey”

“Love everything we’ve done so far. Kids keep asking to go back to camp here. We thourougky enjoy the pool and splash pad and family bike rides through the park itself. My only concern is what seems like a shortage of lifeguards. Havent seen anything illegal, but while theres usually five or six guards on site (great for regular rotations, which they adhere to) , I rarely see more than one actively sitting on watch at a time even when there are far more than 25 people (it’s strongly RECOMMENDED that there be one guard actively watching per 25 patrons in the pool.) this also means the slide is often not up, sine tha requires a minimum of two active guards. Would love to see more if possible five stars because I’m sure they’re doing their best”

“The Elks Lodge is located on the Northwest side of San Antonio, Texas.
There is a main building, large storage building, and a field area just to the north of the buildings, which is used as a small rv park area. The park is used only for our membership and visiting Elks members, not for general public RV usage. During off-season RV use of the field, it's occasionally used for a small arts and crafts event, etc.

As for the main Elks Lodge building, there are regular hours open for members' meetings, social get-togethers, and dinners. There are two large room areas for larger dining or used as an open area for events. There is a kitchen and bar area with an adjoining regular size room for dining, socializing or watching the TV SuperBowl, etc.

Community usage occurs at the Elks Lodge, as well, like a recent Cub Scout group using the larger room for an event. As for membership, the Elks Lodge is open for men and women to join.

Non-members can enjoy the lodge, when accompanied with members. Membership costs are Very reasonable, without large initiation or donation fees, unlike many private organizations.

One very important plus with this membership is that a member and family can also visit other Elks lodges around the country while traveling, and if they have an RV, can reserve RV parking cheaply at other lodges.

I met one couple who were visiting at the San Antonio Elks Lodge using an RV, who were doing just that...making a long travel across the country East to West then North toward Oregon, then back home in the East... visiting and enjoying Elks lodges along the way, making new Elks friends and saving money on stays and dinner costs. A smart plan!”

“My wife and I were very pleased with the friendly, supportive staff of Davis-Scott branch of the San Antonio YMCA, and we would especially like to credit Coach Shawn Marshall for making our 11-year old son's basketball experience outstanding. Winter 2026 was the first season our son ever played on an organized basketball team. Coach Shawn knows a lot of basketball, and a lot about life. He was truly outstanding with the kids. He supported them and built them up, and also pushed them just the right amount to become better basketball players, better teammates, and most importantly- better young people. Coach Shawn Marshall personifies the YMCA mission- my wife and I are so grateful for him and his positive influence on our son.”

“My wife has been volunteering remotely through Soldier's Angels since 2016 and I started volunteering with her later on after seeing how much she enjoyed volunteering. We've made snack packs for the Seattle VA along with our kids and found it's a great service learning opportunity and way to spend a rainy weekend. We really appreciate all the different ways Soldier's Angels helps connect volunteers with volunteer opportunities.”

“This is a wonderful Salvation Army sponsored children's home. There are approximately 60 children on site, cared for by the nicest, competent, caring staff. It's a very safe environment for the children. If you aren't supporting this St P J 's Children's Home, you should seriously consider it. It a real investment in these children's lives.”
