Sunken Gardens
305 5th St, ShinerWe were passing through town and felt blessed to stumble on the Sunken Gardens restaurant. My husband said it was the best Shepherd’s Pie and Broccoli Salad he’s ever eaten, and I felt the same about the Kale/Walnut/Cranberry Salad. The buffet was well presented and included great options for every diet choices. The staff were down-home friendly as well. I hope we can return soon!

603 State Hwy 95, ShinerShiner factory, grabbed food, the brisket and sausage sandwich was good but the buns do not hold up at all, the sausage was great and perfectly cooked and the brisket was tender with a little tug left in it. All in all not a bad afternoon.
