777 State Hwy 95, BastropFriendly staff, and a great deal on beef! I bought a couple pounds and you get what you pay for. So much better than big store beef, the fat was not cloudy, and the meat didn’t shrivel up. My kids ate it plain cooked with nothing but salt and pepper. I put it in my chili after frying it with onions. Amazing stuff, I’m buying all my ground beef from here starting today. Also the chicks were in if you were looking for layers.

The only negative part of the experience was the initial “welcoming” I received from the front desk lady. She was slightly condescending and rude, not comforting in a situation where I thought my dog was going to need surgery and I was clearly frazzled. Probably not the best first impression, but the staff in the back are what made a difference!

We make the trip from Austin to groom our miniature schnauzer as he is half the price and is the only groomer that has been able to clip our dogs nails as she is difficult with her paws. We are never disappointed! And he always finishes the grooming job at around the same time every time we come! Highly recommend trusting Dwayne with your fur babies!

710 Chestnut Street, BastropThis is not a restaurant, it is a food truck with an amazing cook making you home made Ethiopian food! If I could gi e this 6 stars I would! If you have never tried Ethiopian food do not feel the need to skip. The extra rolled bread is traditionally used as a tool to pick up your food and eat with it. I had the lamb and it was really tasty with the right amount of heat to keep me happy. If I'm ever back this way again, I will defiantly be eating here more!
