Springtown Veterinary Hospital
415 Springtown Way, San MarcosI highly recommend Springtown Vet! I had never been here before and brought my most skittish cat for an exam and vaccines. I have multiple rescue cats and this one has been the most standoffish even after years of having her. I had been dreading this appointment and I was worried about how my cat would respond to being brought to a vet. I wasn't even sure if the staff would be able to do their job because of how skittish she normally is. My cat was pretty anxious in their office but the staff was incredibly patient and compassionate. They were able to complete the exam and give her vaccines. Everyone was very understanding and worked with her to help her eventually calm down. They had a few tricks like offering kitty treats and a cat wrap which worked well. I was so relieved at how great it went. I can tell all the staff enjoy their work and strive for excellent customer service. The vet had a wonderful bedside manner. Thank you to the vet and staff for such a positive experience.

After calling several other places that said they couldn't see my cat with his urinary emergency, the receptionist and or assistant talked to the Dr who said to go ahead and bring him in. Even though they were fully booked they immediately took him in the back to make sure there wasn't a blockage. Both the assistant and the Dr kept me informed of how my cat was doing and what was going on. Everyone was super nice and spoke in very relatable terms. Thank y'all so much so bending over backwards to make sure my baby boy was ok and putting my mind and heart at ease.

My original Reason for choosing Kaliber was because Victor was clearly able to outline the objectives of training, and ensure that he was going to complete the job. Victor was amazing keeping in touch with me weekly sending me videos updates. We had a plan for a six week training. My dog was needing a little extra time and for no extra charge, he stayed 2 more weeks making sure that the training was complete! In the end, my dog is transformed. The obedience is able to be repeated at home! Highly effective!!

San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter
750 River Road, San MarcosWe adopted a pup named Kipper (now Nacho) earlier this week from SMRAS and had such a great experience with them. We got to the shelter close to closing time but they were still happy to let us meet him since we had come from an hour away and helped answer all our questions and clarify their adoption process.
Every person we interacted with was so kind, helpful, and clearly cared about their dogs. We can't thank them enough for helping us find the newest addition to our family!
