If you do not have a quarter with you to get a shopping cart, they will give you one. I always enjoy shopping here.”

“I am extremelyy pleased with this location instead of the other Walmart on FM 518 on the east side of 288 (which is so crowded and takes a long time to drive into or find anything). This location in Shadow Creek is slightly smaller but suits me perfectly as it's easier to find items. Customer Service is excellent with the cashiers and employees in the aisles responding to instantly, efficiently, and cheerfully. When I stopped and asked one of the employees where copier paper was, she personally took me all the way to the aisle - which is amazing because it's rare these days and therefore greatly appreciated! This is my go-to store now!”

I shop at this store every week for my African groceries and general food. They have fresh products at a very affordable rate. If they don't have what you want, they can direct you to a place to get it or help you to get it .

“Nice that there's a hot food bar counter-style with varieties of food ready to go. Avoid the egg rolls as they are too greasy and salty but the beef ribs were seasoned so well (delicious!) and you have a choice between white rice and Mexican rice. They have spaghetti with sliced sausage in it too and macaroni pasta salad. Fried chicken and French fries.”

“The best hot food deli serving Salvadoran food like Salvadoran tamales (steamed in a banana leaf with chicken inside ), caldo de res (beef veggie soup ), beans and rice , chicarron, egg rolls, chimichangas, the BEST fried chicken and fried fish , rotating stews, and delicious ribs on Thursdays. and Saturday's . Their tortillas ALONE are the perfect snack ! Circular clouds of heaven!”

My reason for being in that area was to visit the clothing shops, but I noticed this La Michoacana and since I was hungry, decided to try it (been to a couple of the other ones) and I was totally impressed by this one! It is definitely the BEST one of the ones I've been to!The store overall looks neat and clean, but in particular the restaurant was a lot better. All of the food looked a lot fresher and way more appetizing.I don't know if these are "franchised" stores or if they're all under same ownership, but whatever they're doing at this store, it works!The only thing I would change, would be the same thing I had already mentioned in my review of the store on Hillcroft, which is that the ladies, SHOULD NOT be touching the same receipt that went from the cashier hands, to your hands and now to the hands of the ladies handling the food!! I know they're mainly serving onto plates, but they're also handling tortillas, preparing tacos, gorditas, etc. I thought that was going to be different at this store, but unfortunately it wasn't.”

“Opens at 6am and closes 11 pm sometimes 12 am. The food they prepare inside is good. Staff is cool. Only one register. They do have a western union box so you can send money or receive. Great selection of everything you need. Some items may be expired but those you can really tell. A lot of drunk grown Mexican men stand sit or lay in front or on the side of the store. Sometimes they bother you, other times they don’t… it’s 50/50. More than enough parking available. Overall 5 stars in my book. Super convenient to anyone who stays on club creek.”
