“I recently went to the store in The Colony. I met a young man named Ashton, who was working and I had an issue with my phone. I was not receiving data. I was having trouble using it to navigate because I also work for doordash and using my data. I eventually ran out of data. Ashton helped me fix my data issue. He spent a lot of time to figure it out and he didn't give up. He solved that first issue for me. My other issue that I had is that he told me I was eligible to upgrade to the $40/month deal to receive more data. It only would cost $2 and some change to to get it activated right away. Sadly, I had no money to upgrade to the $40 package about having 10 GB of data but I could not get to it because I needed to find $2. To my unfortunate luck, I did not even have change. I had overdrafted on my account, and I also needed gas money. I was not able to use my debit card either. I was stuck. Seeing how I was struggling and how necessary it was for me to upgrade, he told me to hang on for a second. He looked into wallet to see what he had. Then come he went to his car to see if he had some change. He also didn't have any. Then, he called his friend and asked him to then know him like three dollars. After he did that he was able to basically pay for me to get the upgrade. He was a lifesaver and he did whatever he felt was necessary to take care of me and I truly appreciate his care generosity. I need to return to the store to pay him back but I just want to cricket to know that he deserves a raise or he deserves recognition because he was selfless. He went up up and beyond to provide amazing customer service and compassion so if you guys see Ashton know that you will be in good hands. He represented the company very well. The company itself was a little misleading when I actually signed up, because I was told a different rate and that if I stick with auto pay I would only have to pay $25 a month. In the attitude saying that it would lock me in at that rate. Then, I was charged $30 and said that is the monthly rate. The $25 was only going to apply for the first month but it was not going to continue. No it's only a $5 difference but it's the principle of it how you lure someone in believing a certain price when advertised as such. In 1A call to complain about that, they said some excuse and I had to continue paying the $30. Considering that I was at a point where I couldn't even find $2, it was a big deal.That's not what the add said. I was disappointed in that. Anyways, I just wanted to acknowledge and give my shout out to Ashton because he is what made the customer service experience of five star service. It's because of him I upgraded and it's because of him I was able to earn something for myself that night and get gas to pay my other bill. It's because of him I will stick around with cricket and stick with the updgrade. He should be thanked and acknowledged. I also owe him lunch or something.”
