“Cameron in the fishing department is the man, he needs a raise. I came in and he helped me load up the line for two of my reels. He patiently worked through some issues in loading all the line on one of the reels and didn’t make a big deal out of it even though it was a little past closing. Not everywhere is like that.”

“Mountain land Supply is such a great supplier to work with. From the counter help to delivery to the business office.. each individual is helpful ,courteous, and knowledgeable. We have been doing business with them for over 20 years. Carrier equipment is our preferred equipment and we appreciate the service that we have always received from them.”

“They need more variety in the storefront! I understand they could order any tool into the store for you, but at that point it’s cheaper, faster, and more convenient to just Amazon/ebay. Besides, I want to touch and feel how the tool functions before I buy it, rather than look at a picture of it on a screen. And what if I needed it right then and there, which is why i’d go to a brick and mortar like Herrick? But Five stars because the staff is always super friendly and helpful, and I want to help this small local business, located in the heart of Ogden’s industrial district, flourish into a place with a larger storefront.”

“I've been into the store twice in the last 90 days, and I've been very well taken care of by a great employee. His name is Caleb. He is the STIHL service technician that knows his stuff inside and out. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Yes, a bonus or pay raise are in order”

“Great service and great product. This visit, I just needed one piece of siding to replace a broken panel. They were very helpful at color matching and the piece they sold me was clearly of much better quality than the comparable product from Lowe's or Home Depot. Will definitely continue to utilize Lansing for home exterior needs.”

“I had a great experience here. There was a monster tree stump in my backyard and I was getting quotes north of $600 to have it ground up. On my next day off, I went to several rental businesses. Either their stump grinder was in use or they didn’t offer a trailer. When I arrived at Universal, they had the machine sitting on a trailer, filled up and ready to go. We did the usual paperwork, and then I hooked up my truck and took off. It took about three hours of grinding, but I knocked it out for basically half price. It’s a bummer that part of the rental time is absorbed by transporting the equipment, but that can’t be helped. These guys were friendly and helpful. Everything seemed completely fair and honest. I would definitely use them again.”

“New owners and the place is fully stocked again. No more bare shelves. It still is a little more expensive for most things. I love their hardware section, you can always find the perfect nut or bolt or random Ikea doohickey.”

“Bought some Pittsburgh(?) clamps for woodworking, they are fantastic. However, the pads leave a stain on wood. Cleaned up ok with isopropyl alcohol and some sanding. Now know to use scraps”

“I tried to complete the survey but the id number was cut off my receipt, but I wanted to complement Martin manzo from the garden dept and Jodie from the appliance dept. Martin helped me select a snow blower, as I had no idea about them because being from So. California where we have no snow. Martin was very knowledgeable and professional. Jodi was instrumental in getting the paperwork done and they made a great team and got my snow blower delivered the next day. I hope someone at lowes sees this and gives these folks a deserved well done”

“We like going into these places to support local stores. I just wish the Re-stores around the country would ship to one another. We found a lot of carpet squares in Kansas and had to drive out there to get them because these stores don't share. I guess that's just how it is.”

“It's Home Depot! I like to build my shopping list in the app and use it to help me find the things I need in store. You can also avoid the problem of looking for out of stock things because the app will show the inventory at your store of choice. Every interaction I have had with their employees has been pleasant. Getting help finding stuff is hit or miss some times. If you need help getting something heavy off a shelf or into your truck they have always been available to help.”

“We recently purchased a Samsung refrigerator. After getting it home and unpacking it, we noticed a dent in the front stainless door. We returned to the store the following day to see what our options were. The return desk got the store manager George. After hearing our issue he was very apologetic and took care of us better than we expected. He offered us a discount and delivery and pickup of the damaged one. We purchased a new refrigerator and are currently waiting delivery. Sales associates like Alex and management like George made our experience worthwhile. Greatly appreciated.”
