“My daughter (and I) absolutely love Hot Topic especially the one located at the Orem University Mall store! Every time we go I am telling the employees how amazing the store looks. I can always tell how much work, time and effort they put into making the store look great and how much thought they put into every display, making items easy to find and appealing to the eyes (and they do an excellent job! It is literally my daughter’s favorite place to go. To her it’s like Christmas when we plan a trip to the mall and every time the first place we go is straight to Hot Topic. Speaking of Christmas last year my daughter called it “Hot Topic Christmas” since almost all her gifts came from HT (her favorite store) and says it was the best Christmas ever! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and obviously care about every one of their customers. Their customer service skills are nothing short of outstanding! You can tell immediately how much they care about everyone that walks into the store and how much pride they put into everything they do. The managers are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, all the employees are so kind and always make us feel like family. (Just an fyi, I am not related to anyone in the store and every employee I have met only through being a regular happy customer:) so this is 100% a legit honest review coming from a repeated satisfied customer :) If you are a fan of Hot Topic like we are, the Hot Topic at The University Mall in Orem is definitely one you should visit I promise you won’t be disappointed.”

“I went in today to get some men’s Christmas pajamas for our family. Originally, I was going to order them online, but the coupons I had, wouldn’t go through online. I went in store and found most of the pants I needed. I checked out with Lisa and was able to get the coupons added. After I payed, I realized there was a dollar price difference between the pants I saw online, and the pants I bought in store. Lisa explained it was a gender difference in the pants, and I realized I had grabbed all women’s pants instead of men’s. Lisa helpfully explained the difference and helped me order all the pants I needed from online, with the same discounts. And then she returned the women’s pants for me. Lisa was so optimistic, friendly and helpful. I will be returning for good customer service!”

I still wear the pants weekly almost two years later. They are very good quality. I come back to this store a couple times a year because the sales are just that good.”

About six months ago when I came in, things were pretty messy and disorganized,which I totally understand from working retail myself, since customers can make a mess so quickly. But this time around, the store was spotless and so well-organized. Whatever the staff is doing now, it’s working! What really stood out to me though was the employee I believe named Janet. She was kind enough to stop and chat with me, make sure I was finding everything I needed, and somehow still managed to keep up on everything at the same time. L.L. Bean, the Maine-based retailer famous for its boots and backpacks, is opening four new U.S. stores this year and plans to expand into the Southeast and Midwest markets in 2025. The company had a grand opening of an Ulster, NY store in April. The other three locations are coming to Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Connecticut this fall.
