“My daughter (and I) absolutely love Hot Topic especially the one located at the Orem University Mall store! Every time we go I am telling the employees how amazing the store looks. I can always tell how much work, time and effort they put into making the store look great and how much thought they put into every display, making items easy to find and appealing to the eyes (and they do an excellent job! It is literally my daughter’s favorite place to go. To her it’s like Christmas when we plan a trip to the mall and every time the first place we go is straight to Hot Topic. Speaking of Christmas last year my daughter called it “Hot Topic Christmas” since almost all her gifts came from HT (her favorite store) and says it was the best Christmas ever! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and obviously care about every one of their customers. Their customer service skills are nothing short of outstanding! You can tell immediately how much they care about everyone that walks into the store and how much pride they put into everything they do. The managers are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, all the employees are so kind and always make us feel like family. (Just an fyi, I am not related to anyone in the store and every employee I have met only through being a regular happy customer:) so this is 100% a legit honest review coming from a repeated satisfied customer :) If you are a fan of Hot Topic like we are, the Hot Topic at The University Mall in Orem is definitely one you should visit I promise you won’t be disappointed.”

“I went in today to get some men’s Christmas pajamas for our family. Originally, I was going to order them online, but the coupons I had, wouldn’t go through online. I went in store and found most of the pants I needed. I checked out with Lisa and was able to get the coupons added. After I payed, I realized there was a dollar price difference between the pants I saw online, and the pants I bought in store. Lisa explained it was a gender difference in the pants, and I realized I had grabbed all women’s pants instead of men’s. Lisa helpfully explained the difference and helped me order all the pants I needed from online, with the same discounts. And then she returned the women’s pants for me. Lisa was so optimistic, friendly and helpful. I will be returning for good customer service!”

“SHOCKINGLY FANTASTIC customer service. One of the gun salesman also offers instructional classes and he answered a couple valuable questions for us. Yet the star of the show was Henning. He has an incredible memory. He recalled our circumstance - even only having talked to him over the phone more than 6 months ago. His advice was good for us and good for Gunnies. We wanted to buy even MORE because he was so low pressure and considerate. One of the other sales people told him that what we were asking for was most likely not available, but Henning went out of his way to inquire with another company and find the answers. He was a great advocate for us. We are lifelong customers now. Thank you for hiring such a great employee. He reps Gunnies WELL.”

“I’ve been to this location a few times now, but was really impressed by how well Kenzie took care of me tonight! It was a busy Saturday night and I was looking for some shorts to try on in some specific brands. She asked great questions, got right to the point and listened to me and what I wanted. I feel like it’s getting more and more rare to get professional service from someone who is engaged and positive — it’s PRICELESS for me as a mom of young kids, I don’t have a lot of time to try clothes on and it was a positive experience because of her. Great energy and sales/work ethic!”

“One time they had placed pants on the clearance wall that were not actually for sale. They gladly gave me the discount and I walked out with 3 pairs of pants for $30. I still wear the pants weekly almost two years later. They are very good quality. I come back to this store a couple times a year because the sales are just that good.”

“Every pair of pants I own with one exception (zumies) are from cotton on. Fantastic customer service and quality. The only thing I would say is more mirrors on the market floor, and not just in changing rooms for accessories and outerwear.”

“Great place to shop - look for the deals isle for steals. Usually deals here are misleading (for example the sign will say they will have $10 tee shirts, but it really in the fine print it means the second one you buy you get for $10). Good selection of tshirts, vans, and pants for men.”

“I just wanted to leave a review because I’ve noticed such a big improvement in this store. About six months ago when I came in, things were pretty messy and disorganized, which I totally understand from working retail myself, since customers can make a mess so quickly. But this time around, the store was spotless and so well-organized. Whatever the staff is doing now, it’s working! What really stood out to me though was the employee I believe named Janet. She was kind enough to stop and chat with me, make sure I was finding everything I needed, and somehow still managed to keep up on everything at the same time. She’s an excellent worker and really left a great impression. Because of this experience, I’ll definitely be coming back more often now.”
