“I really do not have enough good things to say about the entire staff at this location. Any time I’ve ever come in with a question I get nothing but friendly and helpful advice. The guys are always excited to talk about bikes, educate on components, and lend a helping hand. There’s never any uncomfortable pressure to buy something you don’t want/need, and when time permits they’re even willing to show you how to do something yourself. Don’t hesitate to stop in here.”

“This was my first-ever bike fitting in over 35 years of cycling, which honestly feels a little wild to say out loud. Every bike I’ve ever bought from a shop was basically, “Here’s your bike—have fun.” I remember hearing that some shops used to talk about fitting, but after seeing how involved this process really is, I completely understand why that was never a free add-on.

Bill started by taking detailed measurements of my body—seat height, reach, cleat position, the whole deal. What really impressed me was that he didn’t stop there. He also watched my mobility and core strength and gave me specific recommendations on what I could work on to improve both. That alone was eye-opening.

After about the first hour of measuring, I got on the bike and Bill immediately said, “That’s your problem.” I had come in complaining about lower back pain, and it turns out my saddle was over 25 mm too high. Either I’ve been shrinking with age (very possible), or I’ve been riding with my seat too high my entire life. Probably a little of both.

The saddle process was another huge win. Buying saddles at a bike shop has always felt awkward—staring at a wall of seats, sitting on them in the store, trying not to look suspicious. During the fitting, Bill set up a quick-change saddle system and laid out 12 different saddles. I hopped from one to the next, and within about 30 minutes we found a saddle that was night and day better than what I had been riding. There is no way I could have figured that out on my own.

From there, we dialed in the handlebars and stem length and angle. Because everything was measurement-based, the process felt controlled, intentional, and appropriate—not guesswork.

Overall, my first experience with a bike fitter was honestly amazing and something I should have done years ago. Bill and John made me feel welcome and comfortable the entire time. They documented all my measurements and saved them to my profile, which means the next time I buy a bike, the sizing process should be much quicker and easier.

I give Bikefitr 5 stars without hesitation.”

“I bought my first ever mountain bike here a few months ago. Scott and his team were really patient with me as I had hundreds of questions, given it was my first bike. But they answered everything so that I felt very confident I was getting the right bike for me. Highly recommend them!”

“Bingham Cyclery's new location is on the bike path in Sugarhouse just north of the Patagonia outlet store.

They did a great job helping me with a broken derailleur cable and other stuff + gift certificates for my daughter and her boyfriend.

Thanks Angela, Ty and Jarrod!”

“This is a great shop! It can sometimes be intimidating to go into a specialty shop when you're not already a pro. But Max is awesome and was happy to answer all my questions, help with our equipment and just seems to love helping people have fun and be safe riding bikes.”

“I bought an e-bike for my mom for Christmas through the shop. She was so excited and can’t wait to use it. The manager Steve was so nice! He went out of his way to help me find the perfect bike and accessories. He even helped us surprise her with it on Christmas Eve and then shipped it to her all the way to Massachusetts.”

“Went in to get my son's bike brakes fixed. They were really friendly and it was a simple 30 second fix, so they didn't charge me. Super nice. That was after getting a $40 quote from REI. Shopping local is the better choice.”

“Great store for outdoor gear! We bought our toddler's bike and helmet at Wasatch Touring. And we just got outdoor camping chairs there. Dillion was super helpful and patient with us trying out the different chair types.”

“I own a Brompton Bicycle. I live a car free lifestyle. There isn’t a Brompton Dealer close to where I live. Saturday Cycles is an authorized Brompton Dealer. Brompton has some specialized components and I needed some service work done.

I traveled with my Brompton to SLC by bus to attend a bicycle event. My plan was to explore SLC by bicycle and attend the bicycle event. At the conclusion of my trip I planned on leaving my Brompton at Saturday Cycles for service. I was going to have them box and ship my Brompton to my home after the service was completed.

I went into Saturday Cycles and spoke to Max in service. I explained what I needed done to my Brompton and the plan of shipping it at completion. Max told me that he would fit me in the service schedule now. He put my Brompton in the repair stand and completed the service promptly while I waited. Max provided amazing customer service! My Brompton rides like it is new. Max saved me shipping and transportation costs by completing my service on the spot. I highly recommend Saturday Cycles!”

“We had a wonderful experience buying our bikes from Magnum Electric Bikes, SLC Trolley Square. The staff was fun and engaging. We got a great price. We haven't had a chance to use the bikes yet, due to the weather. But are looking forward to doing so.”

“I love this shop. With multiple riders in our family—both road and mountain bikers—we spend a lot of time here. There are several bike shops much closer to us, but I still recommend Bicycle Center to everyone.

They truly feel like a neighborhood shop while also having the expertise and professionalism of a top-tier performance retailer. I trust them completely to keep the bikes my family rides almost every day tuned, reliable, and safe. Their service, knowledge, and consistency are exceptional.”

“Had an emergency gear failure while in town to snowboard. The sole on my - like new - boots was peeling apart. Called a few other shops who weren’t very helpful said they could only sell me new boots. The team at Cottonwood Board Shop & Cyclery picked up the phone ready to help right away. They had my boots glued together like new within a few hours so I could get back on the mountain the next morning. Pricing was extremely reasonable and saved me from wasting a $200 lift ticket! Support a local small shop who takes care of people! Give these guys your business!”

“Johnny is knowledgable, honest, timely, and hard working. I have a Hyper ebike that needed a tune up, wheel alignment, and a disc brake replacement. Johnny was able to fix it all up and get it into excellent riding condition all within an hour. He arrived on schedule even when it was pouring rain and dark outside. I’m going to be recommending him to everyone I know!”

“Mariah’s THE best! We test rode Rad bikes a few weeks ago and shopped around a bit before returning this weekend. They made sure we weren’t buying more than what we needed and would have support when taking the bikes to Nevada. Mariah was patient given we are novice bikers and have limited experience. Thanks for indulging all my silly questions! A special callout to the inclusive environment and Pride flags. These are the types of businesses I appreciate and want to support!”
