“I am 71 years old and have missed my daily walks due to a bad case of plantar fasciitis. The salesman at the store is a runner and he also has dealt with the same issue. I found that he listened carefully and directed me not only in a good shoe purchase but also regarding the proper insoles (not as aggressive as I had been doing) and exercises that would help. So far I’m very happy with my purchase and look forward to getting back on the trail.”
“I went to fice for the first time in 2018, since then I’ve been a loyal customer. The streetwear and sneakers selection is the best Best in Salt Lake for retail stores. The workers there and managers are very nice if you’re looking to get a brand new shoe release, I would highly recommend entering a raffle or waiting in a line at fice.
Also, they make their own clothes as well. Definitely check those out as well. Very good quality. I have bought a couple pieces myself.”
“My daughter LOVED this place! I think we ended up getting the entire volleyball team to pick out shoes! Excellent selection and the employees were very friendly and helpful. We found out they do have a website that lists all shoes and sizes in stock. No more asking what sizes in five different pairs! We got the neon orange dunks and a pair of blue dunks. Thank you for a great experience!”
“This uptown Cheapskate is very well stocked. I got in and out so fast and their offer was pretty good. I think we all like to think our used clothes, shoes and accessories are worth more than what they offer but I feel they offer fairly. The staff was kind and respectful of items they took and those they didn't. This location being downtown definitely doesn't have the best parking but the one in sugar house isn't much better with the parking. I do think overall they offer more than other stores like this.”
“Thank you Matt Shurtliff in particular, but also thank you to all the staff. I needed a suit for the following day to attend a funeral several hundred miles away. Within only a couple of hours I was able to purchase a new jacket, pants, shirt, and tie. The items were tailored and pressed quickly, upon picking them up I realized I had no dress socks, and Matt provided me with a pair free of charge. On very short notice I was able to attend the funeral dressed appropriately.”

“Drove from Meridian, ID to come here due to the raving reviews! And I can proudly say we had an absolutely amazing experience!! The fitter we had was incredibly knowledgeable, and was so understanding with my weirdly shaped feet lol! Especially since it was my first pair! If I ever need refitted Ill definitely be driving back down to get fitted :) They also did a complimentary sewing on my pair which was amazing since I have no clue on how to sew them! Definitely will be back!”
“I have been shopping at this location for years and its ALWAYS a fun and amazing experience with all the kiddos that work there. The store is so neat and clean. The manager or whoever does the hiring there knows what thier doing 100%.
Shout out to Erika who was so personable and took my exchange and additional purchases with a quickness and attentiveness, letting me know I had a $20 reward and hooked it up with some stickers for my board!
And Vykin, for sharing some appreciation and love for the bands well made clothes and checking the back to help me find my sizes.

She offered a third style of shoe in my size that I didn’t notice and it ended up being the most perfect fit for my foot and I adored the style the best even against the options I picked out myself. “I wanted to shoutout the exceptional customer service from one of the Managers Gabby on multiple occasions. She has been extremely kind and very knowledgeable about products and processes and was able to resolve an issue with UPS on an order for me. I’ve had great experiences with everyone I’ve encountered and I honestly prefer going in store to shop at this point just for the great conversation! Gotta also shoutout how clean and organized their store always is and has a great balance of stock to choose from between shoes and apparel.”
“Very knowledgeable and kind employees. The lady that was helping me really spent a lot of time making sure I had the right shoe. After a month of wearing the shoes they recommended I went back and bought another two pairs for different activities. I would highly recommend going by if you’re looking for a specific type of shoe to help you with training or anything else.”

“Vella Chinchay went above and beyond the call of duty I travel constantly 250 nights a year and I always love to stop in Johnson and pick up something new. A couple of my recent purchases. I bought one size too small and I didn’t have the receipt, but I had a little time today and she looked it up and exchange them for beautiful, beautiful jackets that fit me perfect so I went ahead and bought two more really great sport jackets with the built-in zipper vest for fall and winter
