“Stopped by on my hike and had a great time! The breakfast sandwiches were great! Big sandwiches and the sausage in mine was seasoned perfectly. I also had a sub wrapped up for lunch on the go. Big servings of meat, delicious veggies, and great bread. Store had a good selection of food and drink, an outdoor patio, and was very clean. The ladies at the counter were very patient and friendly.Loved it. Would definitely visit again.”
“I had the Village Butcher cater a lunch for 20 and it was fantastic. The mac and cheese was incredible and very popular. The pulled pork was so tender and delicious. The chicken skewers were great. We had green salad, fruit salad, slaw, cornbread, and the most delicious rolls. It was a great spread that my guests thoroughly enjoyed. Will order again for sure!”
“I love knowing my money stays in the community with every dollar I spend here. Also, the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Becoming a member to have 15% on two big grocery shops twice a month is a no brainer.”
“This is a small country store with limited space and a lot of stuff. They are open late and are convenient to route 4. If you are looking for a full service establishment then you will be disappointed; if you're looking for a country store you won't. This store is real Vermont with quirkiness and without pretense, if you are looking for that, Woodstock is right down the road. Bridgewater is a small community and the Corners Country Store is an asset to those who live here and those just passing through.”
“Great option for when you need a few things but not a full-fledged trip to the grocery store. Much better selection than in a convenience store, but not as overwhelming as a grocery store. Try the breakfast sandwiches, they're fantastic, and the people there are super nice!”
“Great country store with some of the best subs and sandwiches in this valley. A little on the pricy side but still worth the price. The employees are good, and you'll likely find what you need here.”
“A welcoming and very well run business.
We bought two bars of chocolate and something to drink in this scorching temperature while we were on a motorbike on June 18, 2024 in the middle of the afternoon. We were able to chat in French with a friendly lady at our checkout who was from Sherbrooke. Nothing cheap like everywhere else and that's how it is even if it's inconceivable. Chocolate bars at $2.99 each. I bought myself milk and a large 2 liter bottle of Polar lemon and my wife, a bottle of water for $1.99. We offer you two photos including that of the cash receipt with the detailed description of our purchases totaling $11.70.

“Clean quite locally owned business. Has a good variety of food options as well as other supplies you might find necessary for your at home needs. Friendly atmosphere and great little dinner with good healthy food.”
