“Saboor from Marlo Furniture Alexandria was spectacular! I was in need of a bedroom set for my third home and he was more than helpful in assisting me. It was pretty late when I arrived to the store, but Saboor immediately helped me find the right set that was within my budget. He shared a wealth of information about the different types of bed sets, night stands and mattresses and helped explain the differences in quality. He did not pressure me or push any crazy sales tactics on me. I immediately felt comfortable with him as we toured the showroom, he felt like family. He made me feel at ease with the delivery situation as I needed quick delivery. I also needed the items I selected wrapped for moving. He quickly came up with a solution to all of my concerns 1. Price 2. Fast delivery and wrapping 3. Box spring for the Mattress I selected. Saboor is a solution guy and honest and I appreciated that so much. Honestly the best sales experience I have had in years. Very friendly. I will definitely be back with more business with Marlo. Thank you.”

Valerie went out of her way, when she saw that the package had been delivered but then stolen from my porch. She ordered the replacement and got it re-delivered with a lovely note card. “I love going into both Homegoods and Marshalls right next door. There's no cut through in the middle of these two stores like others. That's OK, I just walk outside. This store is set up really nice. Everything looks pretty and inviting. You definitely will want to buy tons of things.”
“Very fun store to visit. Nice selection of jewelry, crafts, and knickknacks. A great place to look for gifts. Also, weirdly a good selection of coffee, tea, and cocoa. All of those are covered by a rewards program if you go regularly. The spicy cocoa is particularly tasty.”
“One of my favorite store for rare finds. There is a variety from furniture to household goods, candles and even outdoor patio items. The entire shop is in an Old Town rowhome and decorated throughout. Each room has a different theme. It’s a wonderful and eclectic selection of items.”

“The family that owns this shop is such a delight. We got our vintage milk glass lamp repaired here that was broken by movers and it’s good as new and was a pretty quick turnaround. Definitely recommend this spot - it’s so nice to have places like this that will do the repair job properly and thoughtfully at a good price.”
“Lots of unique beverages and samples at the World Market. I love how they thoughtfully create a holiday ambience. I noticed. Sparkling rose tea - all natural & no sugar caught my eye. I bought it immediately. They had samples of coffee & tea at the front of the store. I tasted both and found them pleasant & unique in taste. Their Halloween items of floating candles, accessories, and plates were eye catching yet not tempting enough to purchase at regular prices. Definitely a place worth checking out and trying some samples of coffee & tea.”

Trini was fantastic to work with, helped us arrange the order, and answered our questions about delivery, and when one of the items arrived with minor damage from the shipping company, she immediately gave us a partial refund and sent some materials to touch up the scratches. Great selection and excellent service - highly recommend!”
