“Didier Jean , DJ, is very knowledgeable and very helpful. My design task was difficult and he was able to create several viable options that were very nice options. He was attentive and patient, it took over an hour to finish the visit. The showroom is gorgeous with many modern, fresh ceramics, porcelains and marble. Do not hesitate to request DJ or visit this upscale showroom at Floor and Decor. Apparently there are only 4 in the United States and we are lucky to have one here in the DMV. I drove over from Georgetown- well worth it for this free design consult”

“Saboor from Marlo Furniture Alexandria was spectacular! I was in need of a bedroom set for my third home and he was more than helpful in assisting me. It was pretty late when I arrived to the store, but Saboor immediately helped me find the right set that was within my budget. He shared a wealth of information about the different types of bed sets, night stands and mattresses and helped explain the differences in quality. He did not pressure me or push any crazy sales tactics on me. I immediately felt comfortable with him as we toured the showroom, he felt like family. He made me feel at ease with the delivery situation as I needed quick delivery. I also needed the items I selected wrapped for moving. He quickly came up with a solution to all of my concerns 1. Price 2. Fast delivery and wrapping 3. Box spring for the Mattress I selected. Saboor is a solution guy and honest and I appreciated that so much. Honestly the best sales experience I have had in years. Very friendly. I will definitely be back with more business with Marlo. Thank you.”

“The best experience I've ever had with purchasing blinds. I was skeptical about not going to a showroom first like the old days before COVID. Turns out that was a waste of time I was doing in the past. Nathan had everything in his vehicle and knew absolutely everything about windows and blinds. He was a huge help. The removal of the old blinds and install of the new went great. I won't hesitate to call them in the future. BTW, I purchased the bottom up, top down cellular shades. Very nice!”

We found two great finds (a lamp and end table time) last time we were there, which are perfect for our space. The table needed love and the Furniture Rescue team did such a great job we almost did recognize it when we picked it up. They are upcycling really cool things at a very reasonable price! “A store for premium fragrance that are not ordinary! As a fragrance lover I was not aware of Diptyque until I visited the store in Georgetown in Washington DC. Up until now I thought Paco R, Armani, Dior etc are the premium fragrances but that notion changed upon entering the store and seeing their product range. The store itself has a great vibe and smelled go good. To be honest I was overwhelmed with their range so needed help to pick one.If I recall correctly, it was Jessica who came to my aid. She inquired about my fragrance preferences and introduced me to a selection, including some top sellers. After sampling a few, I chose Orpheon, which exceeded my expectations—it garnered so many compliments. The fragrance was certainly a splurge, but it proved to be worth every penny. Its long-lasting scent and premium quality made it a standout purchase.”

“I love going into both Homegoods and Marshalls right next door. There's no cut through in the middle of these two stores like others. That's OK, I just walk outside. This store is set up really nice. Everything looks pretty and inviting. You definitely will want to buy tons of things.”
“Parking is terrible especially since they ripped out the playground in the center median strip. Has bragging rights as an upscale shopping plaza with the Apple store, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn and crate & barrel, but feels like something's missing. Maybe a Chick-fil-A would help?”

“A wonderful, quiet little shop full of traditional Korean hanbok, and some ornamental and household items. I am adopted from South Korea and my family never embraced my heritage, so I have been wanting to get a hanbok now that I am an adult. The woman working this shop listened to my story and pulled out a hanbok that would fit me immediately. She put it on me, and found some accessories to go with it as well. She said I looked cute in it and we laughed a little together. I bought it for $350, a very good price versus the +$1000 prices for hanbok I was finding online. Had a lovely experience here and the hanbok and other goods are authentic and gorgeous! :)”
