Average Harris teeter store, I've seen better. Customer service is ok, but what bothers me is that they don't remove expired products that may be sitting on their shelves or fridge. Produce is not always fresh either, but it's conveniently located in shirlington near many apartments for people to access a grocery store... read full comment

Update: One of the store manager's read my review and sent me a private message apologizing for the store's having fulfilled my order with rotting food, then added a $20 credit to my loyalty card. I greatly appreciate the manager's reaching out to me and finding a remedy for the problem.

Hit or miss... they need to keep the shelves and the donuts and ice cream stocked ! The lines can be long but they do move relatively well. If I can't make it to Safeway, then Harris Teeter has to do
