“Greetings! I like the selection of wines at this store. They sell a nice variety of sweet wines, which are my personal favorite. The store is clean and well stocked and questions asked are answered thoroughly.
The reason I did not give the store 5 stars, however, is due to the fact that I do believe the greetings and offer of service upon arrival could be elevated to improve the experience and make the patrons visit more informative and enjoyable without the patron having to approach the employee and ask for assistance.”

Nice greeting from friendly staff set a good tone for my visit. I looked for whisk(e)y and found more interesting stuff than I could buy.
In scotch the Speyburn 10 (which is great all round and also is fun to blend with) was still on offer for less than $30. ABC isn't known for its Scotch but you can get the Ardbeg 10 on offer as well as the 5 and the Laga 8 for decent prices.
The Virginia section has some tempting stuff like the Virginia Distilling Company's Stout and Cider Cask whiskies.
While it's shelved over by the Irish whisky instead of the Canadian stuff, the Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye is here, although now everybody knows what it is and it is priced accordingly. The days of finding a 63% ABV bottle of sweet liquid prairie fire for $35 are over, sadly.
Yeah, it's an ABC. This is probably the one I have enjoyed shopping at most during my travels in Virginia.”
“Amazing selection, prices, and customer service. I needed six different wines for a Wine Tasting event on a $400 budget. The staff put together the perfect menu of reds and whites, for $391. And if you order ahead, they'll have the cart filled and waiting for you to pick-up. A+”

When I buy alcohol, I prefer to go to Va. to do so. I recommend this establishment without reservation.

“My dog needs to take a very high dosage of a controlled substance daily. The pharmacist has been incredibly helpful in navigating the complicated process of refills that involves working closely with the vet to meet all regulatory requirements. I cannot say enough good things about him!”
“Every single worker here makes me feel like family. I love them all! It could have been a month or two and I walk in with nothing but warm words and open arms. They ask "Where have you been, I've been thinking of you!" And "How are your babies?" Among other sweet words. I have nothing but good things to say about the ABC store on Columbia Pike.”

“I love this local spot. Someone called it the “Social Safeway” and honestly, they nailed it — you can’t grab a bag of chips without running into someone you know. The produce is fresh, the vibes are friendly, and the self-checkout only mildly judges you. Prices can be sneaky unless you summon the power of the Safeway app.

“Clean little place, not much single malt collection, but they do have good Bourbon collection. Friendly staff, and while I was looking at their Bourbons, one of the associates came by and recommended Russell's Reserve. I never tried it and hope it is good.”

If there is any place to go for beer in Arlington it’s this place. They always have the best selection and their staff is super helpful.
Also, special shout out to Shay who works at the Brew Shop! Shay is the single most knowledgeable person about beer I have ever met - in my entire life. He is a living, breathing encyclopedia of beer and his recommendations never fail to disappoint!”
