The staff member on duty was very helpful as I showed up right when they opened. Plus, they had everything I needed as another larger corporate competitor carried none of the items I purchased, unless bought online and made me wait for a delivery. So, thank you Petco!

Four Paws Pet Resort
11132 Progress Road, AshlandThis was our first time boarding our dogs with Four Paws Pet Resort, so we weren’t totally sure what to expect, but we had such a great experience!
First of all, I LOVE their online booking system. It made the entire process so easy and stress-free, and both drop-off and pick-up were super simple with no hassle at all. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly nice, and I was also really impressed by how affordable their pricing is compared to a lot of other boarding options.
The only thing I would love to see in the future would be some sort of photo updates or live cameras for pet parents while they’re away. I noticed they have an Instagram, but it looks like it hasn’t been updated in a while. Even occasional photos uploaded to social media or sent during a stay would be such a nice added touch. I know I would happily pay a little extra for something like that because I miss my dogs SO much when I’m away 😂
That being said, we had a really positive first experience and felt like our dogs were in good hands. We will absolutely be using Four Paws again!

513 South Washington Highway, AshlandSomething that truly sticks out is their care and love for the pets that come in. They remember each one by name and love on them. I noticed as care is given (I have brought my German Shepherd here 3 times and my Cavalier King Charles once) they get to eye level and speak to the pets. It's just pure comfort! I reccomend them to everyone I talk animal care to.

She is very compassionate and has a lot of empathy for the owners and the animals. The wait can be long at times but I know she is giving other people the time they need like she did with my mother and now with me. The supporting staff is just as awesome as she is. They are very compassionate, organized, and keep the office going in top notch fashion. From the ladies at the front desk to the technicians. You can tell the staff enjoys their job. They have been there a long time. Everyone gets to know you and your pet and this is helpful Thank you to everyone at Ashcake animal clinic. You make my pets life and my life much happier.

The food was excellent, service was very friendly and the menu was huge with breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. I got the Pork Belly Au Jus. It was so awesome! The portions were huge!
