“This is a nice stop in the mountains. We stopped here due to a crash up ahead. Everyone was very nice and the place was clean. Jet fighters kept flying over head bc the area simulates Saudi Arabia we were told. Gas was cheap also. Stop here!”

“This place is a hidden gem when it comes to eating. I got a couple of fried chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots. The chicken had not been cooked long and was very flavorful. The sides were good too. Chicken can get overdone on a hot.bar but this was great. Their food customers all appeared to be local and knew the staff too. It says a lot that local people eat there.”
“On my way home from Florida to New York we decided to stop for the night. It was 10:30 pm on Sunday. My kids were hungry and we figured we’d just grab some gas station snacks since there wasn’t much open. We were greeted by the friendliest woman. She showed us their late night menu and gladly made food for my family. Outstanding customer service and a very nice gas station with a little bit of everything.”
“Got turned around the wrong way and was trying to go to the truckstop across the street and I pulled in here to turn around and saw trucks so I am parking here for the night! Thank you Circle K for accommodations to truck drivers.....”
“This is a great Circle K. The gas here was about $2.90 which is a little bit cheaper than other local gas stations. It is clean inside and out. Well stocked with snacks, donuts, drinks and more. The staff were also nice.

“I can't find any issues with my visit here. Plenty of gas pumps. If your'e hungry they have an Arby's, Dunkin, Dairy Queen, and they're own little deli. Bathrooms were in good shape on my visit. They have most everything that you'll need from a gas station, and a lot of stuff that you won't need.”

“I was very happy to find a Travel Center with a RV Dump Station. There are a lot of RVs on the road, but not many places to dump if you've been camping off grid.
I did have a little trouble finding the station upon arrival. I was not expecting it to be with the gas pumps. But it turned out to be a good thing since I needed gas anyway. When you arrive, just look for the set of pumps between the automotive gas pumps and the tractor trailer area. There will be a big RV sign above them. There is a much smaller sign above the dump station that is hard to read from a distance. It's right beside pump #15.
Just scan your card for the $10 cost. You will have one minute to open the lid and insert your hose before it locks back. A water spigot is also available to connect your own hose for black tank flushing.

“I had 3 goals when I stopped at this location. One was to get the biggest Slurpee Speedway offered, the second, find whole milk and lastly, to get the cashier to let me use the microwave to warm up the milk for my son's bottle. The cashier standing just outside the door helping someone else when I walked up to the store. She was super sweet from the start, and didn't act like I was inconveniencing her at all, or have a god complex, because she had the power to deny me microwave privileges, or like her pay got docked for however much extra wattage of me using the microwave would have raised Speedway's power bill. By the way some cashiers act sometimes, I seriously think one of those 3 scenarios plays out in their minds. But not this one! I don't know her name, but it was pretty late, maybe 11-12, and she was short and so nice. The Slurpee machine was in working order, the store was organized, and she let me use the microwave. She is the reason for the four stars. I deducted a star from the company because there was absolutely no white milk in the cooler and the company should have to suffer the consequences of my single star deduction. PS, I almost restored the fifth star because of the awesome drumstick Slurpee straws, buuut then you would not have learned your lesson, Speedway.”
“What a great staff here!! Older location, but one that the STAFF deserve renovated. After 4 batteries, 125 gallons of fuel and a 34 hr reset, this place earned every dime I had to spend here for truck maintenance and that I CHOSE to spend because of the service!
From the deli, both food concepts and Truck Care, I will gladly come here again and spend another $2000 w/ a smile on my face.
Fresh food, clean bathrooms and friendly faces. These guys need more recognition than I can give, no doubt. Bonus time, maybe?? And, considerations about moving this location up the list for the renovation.”

“I left my wallet there by accident and drove all the way to Sweetwater Tennessee and realized what i did and remembered that was last place i took out my wallet so i figured out which circle k it was and after calling them and their number they informed me it was there so i drove 260 miles back up to meadow brook va and im thankful they kept my wallet . They are honest.”

“Beautiful state park . I really enjoyed my hike here . I loved the steps down to the water fall but I semi died going back up, haha. I can't wait to get back out and try some of the other hikes . It's only a 1.5 hour ride from Charlotte . I'm hoping for a nice winter to get back out and do some more nature activities!”
