“One of the many great things about living in Crozet! The produce is usually local whenever possible, and they have so many great items that are always a surprise! We returned from a trip to Vermont. Sad to miss out on Tates bakehouse gluten-free cookies and there they were on the shelf!! Seriously a gem in a small town and has saved me many times mid recipe!!”
“Love this super cute market and store. They have an excellent selection of quality groceries, take out items and beer selections. Parking onsite and seems they sometimes have markets outside or events. Can't wait to return.”
“It was a clean and organized grocery store. I wish there were more sushi and sub sandwich selections. There was a good selection of meats, snacks, drinks, and dairy products.”
“This is the epitome of a rural filling station with nearly all other amenities at offer too. Small, tiny, stuffed, slow paced, friendly, open for a small chat and large sortiment. I just popped in to stock up my beer and loved the rural American feeling immediately. Reasonable prices too!”
“I'm came here from out of town virginia beach virginia to be exact. The staff the food the atmosphere is all pretty much like home. I'm staying in a air bnb 5 min walk away and haven't been disappointed yet!!!”
“Patrick Brothers has been here for many many years. It has been through many many names. The locals who live here always will call it Smalls store. It is an iconic landmark. It has handicap parking and handicap accessibility. They have recently opened the old dairy aisle on the weekends. They serve a variety of fish, shrimp, hush puppies, and some of the best ice cream made with real cream. The strawberry ice cream I think is the best. It is also where all of the locals meet in the morning and have their coffee. Traditionally it is the meeting place of all the locals. That's where you can find out any information on anybody from the locals.”
“The dollar General in Crozet has IMPROVED IMMENSELY since the new general manager has worked there. Ms Williams, as are the other employees, are always pleasant and cheerful. No longer are the isles blocked with stock awaiting being put away. No longer has the fire department ALMOST closed them down due to being a potential fire hazard. No longer has the store required to be closed to allow "imported" employees to ensure the store is safe. In fact, Ms Williams is there working so much, I have repeatedly suggested she get a cot in the back to rest! The malcontent who posted a negative review obviously has a entitlement issue. I enjoy shopping there. No thank you to a Walmart super-center here! Everyone is always going through something, but you should NOT be the cause of it! In fact, if a police officer was present when the malcontent was showing her backside, she would have been charged with disorderly conduct. Please ignore that poor ignorant soul!”

“I showed up tonight at 6:01 and they were closing up and had already begun shutting down the drawer. They were so understanding, and kind enough to reopen the register so that I could get my prescription.”
“Ordered sandwiches (about average taste), chicken curry salad (delicious!), Marie Bette baguette (heavenly), and a bottle of local wine (reasonably priced). Service very friendly. Cute spot.”
