We have one old dog who struggles with car rides and one crazy dog who was such a spaz at another vet's office that they said he would need to be sedated in the future. Dr. Reiss came to our home and was so great with both of them - he was even able to give shots to our crazy dog with no issues - no sedation and no trauma for anyone! I was worried about nothing. He had great suggestions for our old lady's arthritis, and it was amazing how much he could learn about the dogs without them noticing they were being examined. Such a better experience for everyone than an office visit - we will be returning to Dr. Reiss in the future!

19971 Ridgeside Rd, BluemontPerry and Brandi were exceptional, to say the least. From their communication to every detail on turnover day, we truly cannot thank them enough. They are incredibly talented at what they do, and while we still have a lot to learn and practice as owners, we can already see such a difference in our dogs after the three-week board and train.
They were on time every single day with their evening check-ins, always responsive, and they truly treated our dogs like part of their own family. That meant so much to us and gave our family so much comfort knowing our dogs were in such great hands.
What we appreciated most is that their support doesn’t stop when the training ends. They are there to continue helping us understand and implement the training techniques so we can keep building on the progress our dogs have made.
We are incredibly grateful for the care, dedication, and time they invested in our dogs. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for trainers who truly care about both the dogs and their families.

Outstanding BBQ, pizza was outstanding, the beer itself was very well crafted and the customer service was delightful. Start at the top of the mountain and end your day here... check out the neighboring vineyard.

Bear Chase Brewing Company
33665 Bear Chase Ln, BluemontBear Chase is hopping! Went there on Saturday evening and they were busy, but you could still find seating and there was not a delay in ordering beer or food. There was a live band and a lot of families hanging out both inside and out. My husband and I found a small table near their roaring fireplace, which was perfect. We enjoyed both stouts, dunkel and amber. My husband enjoyed the imperial stout the most and I think I favored the dunkel, though both the oatmeal stout and amber were also tasty. I also enjoyed the large pretzel and grilled chicken sandwich and my husband enjoyed the house burger. The environment was a little loud, but festive and fun. We are already planning to come back.
