“Riva Market a Shell gas station and convenience store , located just about halfway between Culpeper and Madison on Route 29 .The folks here are very nice, there's a nice rounded inventory , so if you're out this way stop on in and fill your tank up get yourself something cold to drink a burger or a sandwich and chips got it all here, and my personal favorite ice cream. My Hope of course is to reduce some of my inventory. And I probably have at least this much in my storage locker and things still in my Ford. children's books, a Fisherman's fly tying kit, hand knitted children sweaters from the 1960s. baby dolls , Mattel, Hasbro, Beanie Babies, little Barbies baby things. I've got dozens of mason jars from the 1860s up to about 1920. Chickens ,chickens ,chickens, chickens I've got chickens everywhere I bought I bought a very nice lady's entire chicken . primitive desk , and tables . rocking chairs, baskets. Vintage agricultural tools, let's see, I think I have everything but the 40 acres in the mule when it comes to agricultural needs from the 1800s . collectible cars, corrugated steel tub , possibly a thousand football cards. let's hope I get rid of some of this stuff today. ⁵TTFN”

“This is the ONLY 711 in CPep. The day shift ladies are the best. It is ALWAYS clean. The coffee station, bathroom and floors...always clean. The best thing is the wonderful ladies who work there. They are super helpful. They get to know you by name and always say hello in a cheerful way. Even when you can tell they are busy or frustrated, they hold their composure and do their job. Always with a smile. My SO and I find ourselves enjoying seeing them. We will go out of our way to go to this 711. Most others have nasty drink stations and bathrooms. They are redoing the gas pumps but don't let that keep you from going to the CLEANEST, NICEST, 711 with the most authentic ppl who won't take their frustrations out on you. They will go out of their way to help in my experience. I don't want to leave out the 2 gentleman that often work day shift. They are awesome dudes too. I've worked at 711. It can be a daunting task. A harder job than ppl think. These ppl work hard and it really shows. The hard work has not gone unnoticed. I appreciate the extra attention to detail and ppl.”
“I visited here a year ago and find out that the management here is pathetic however when I visited here a week ago it turned out to be fantastic as the owners are changed now!!! Everyone should visit here!!!!”
“Mayhugh's is always there for me whenever I need a quick gallon of milk, carton of eggs, or thing of bacon for sunday morning breakfast. The cashiers are always very pleasant and friendly to talk with. A big plus is that you can fill your gas tank while stopping in here. Love my little Amissville and the people in it.”

“I am always satisfied with this 7-11. I visit this location often and they are always friendly. Seems to be a shortage on variety of Monster energy drinks lately though.”
“I have visited this store 7 times! Each time I have been greeted by the very friendly staff!!! Not once felt out of place. They have everything you need from cleaning supplies to baby items to delicious hot food!!!”
“I like this particular Walgreens in the town where I live (590 Madison Avenue) compared to the other location, which is located at 15250 Montanus Avenue. I never knew that this one was here until recently when I moved to this side of town, which is where Walgreens is located. The other Walgreens on Montanus Ave (and I am an honest reviewer bc reviews matter to me, so take what I say or leave it) in my opinion, has more work to do on their customer service skills. More than a few times, I've had interactions with employees at the Montanus location that were less than tolerable. I used tolerable bc that's exactly how I felt every time. I "tolerated" my even being there only bc I had to be there. The propensity of their younger staffs attitudes happen to make up the majority of their workforce need a training course on how to be respectful and courteous. Because of this alone, I transferred all of my prescription medications from their store to a completely different pharmacy altogether, which is now CVS based on that one fact alone. I suppose most negative interactions come from their pharmacy department. I would also add that they are probably understaffed and undertrained. Untrained bc I was once a pharmacy tech. And I can say that. The Walgreens on which I'm doing this review on they are located on the opposite side of town on Madison Avenue. I met three employees while there. I met a young woman who was so pleasant her first name was Lady, and I believe her second name was Jasmine she and I talked while she was doing her re-shop while I was looking for my items. I thought she was a great young lady, "Lady!" It was close to closing time, and I went to the checkout, and the young woman at the front of the store was fantastic, too. My debit card was declined ONLY bc I forgot to transfer money from my savings to my checking... ? so I had to quickly do that and then I kept inserting my card the wrong way bc I was too busy talking about the cool new plant-related mug I just bought from Walgreens so she kindly and patiently took my card and helped me bc I was just too preoccupied lol. We finally completed my transaction!Anyway, she ended up mentioning after our transaction that she is a Master Gardener and I told her how super cool that was, I had always thought about wanting to involve myself in the program but never did and she really gave me some nice words of encouragement this as we were all walking out for the night and I being the last customer. ?In conclusion, not only have I found a way better, Walgreens, with staff who have the best customer service and attitudes ?, but it's closer to my home, it's cleaner, more parking, the layout of the store I liked better from an aesthetic appearance. If you live in Culpeper, try the Madison Avenue location. They're awesome!!✨️??”

“Stopped by here on the way out of Culpeper. Their restroom doesn't really look like a public one - I had to walk through their back room to get there. But no matter, a restroom was what we needed so I won't complain. The two employees working were friendly and helpful. Some 7-Elevens offer gas, this one does not, but they have plenty of your convenience foods and such.”
