“I enjoy and appreciate shopping at Harris Teeter (Newport News location). They're always helpful, professional, and kind and demonstrate excellent teamwork, which is rarely seen. They were very busy today, to say the least. They were short staffed and only had 2 registers open. I was impressed how they worked together; Nini (who is an accountant) came out of her office, and another staff member (who isn't a cashier) both opened up a register to lessen people's frustration and having to continue to wait. Kuddos to Harris Teeter! Keep up the excellent work! Thanks for caring about your customers.”

“They're always busy, but somehow the folks inside are still available and willing to help out when there's an item missing from the shelves and has to be forklifted from the rafters. Are the prices better than non-wholesale? Not often, but it's more convenient to buy bulk in some products than others.
There are deals to be had all the time if you keep an eye out.”

“I have been with Kroger Pharmacy on University for years. I changed health insurance plans for 2025 and Kroger is not in their network?. I'm hating this. Kroger always have my medications at decent prices, always on time, and the people are nice. I'm not happy with leaving them to go somewhere. ???. Had I known I would have never chosen this new insurance. I will miss your services.”
“Ordered a prescription for Monday morning , when I had a Prescription pick up that morning. The Pharmacist was very kind to fill my prescription within 30 minutes (pharmacy opened only at 9AM) so I could pick up both prescriptions at 9 30 AM. Thank you for prompt and kind service so I did not have to wait till Tuesday at senior hour for the medication.”

“Everyone should have more patience with the pharmacy. They got a bunch of new customers when Rite-aid closed, plus all of the new people moving into town. The one pharmacist you always see is the only pharmacist there. There is limited staff and they stay busy all day. They are only able to take their lunch break between 1:30 and 2. If they take it then, they don't get to take it. Everyone needs a break. They're doing a great job!”

“I have been using this Rite Aid pharmacy for 3 or 4 years now. I switched from the stores in Smithfield because this pharmacy provided better service. And I believe it still does. Today my wife urgently needed a prescription filled for an uncommon medication. This pharmacy was the only one in the area that had it on hand, and the pharmacist had to make multiple efforts over several hours to get the prescription transferred from the pharmacy it was initially sent to.
